What is the TwisterCane Bio Foam Sleeping Pad?

Camping mat, sleeping pad, whatever you like to call it, the TwisterCane Bio Foam is a roll mat with an environmentally responsible design that keeps you comfortable when camping in milder conditions, allowing you to get a good night of well-earned kip.

What is it made of?

Foam: This foam mattress is made with a unique EVA foam that feels incredibly soft to lie on, is pliable enough to roll for storing in/attaching to a backpack and is durable enough to withstand years of use.

So, what's unique about it? This foam contains more than 60% of responsibly grown sugarcane resin, derived from sugarcane down and harvested in an environmentally considerate manner and audited by a third party. Not only does this help to reduce carbon emissions being used to make this product, but it also reduces the amount of plastic used, giving it some extra brownie points for the more eco-conscious adventurer!

What are its features?

Closed-cell foam technology creates a firm, insulated barrier using die-cut peaks and heat-trapping 'valleys' to ensure a balance of warmth and comfort on cold ground.

The mat is made with two layers of foam with a different texture on each side to allow you to lay the dimples upright or downwards, depending on what you find more comfortable.

Thanks to this foam construction, the mat is lightweight and can easily be rolled tight to save space and carried when backpacking or walking into your camping spot.

The R-Value of this pad is 1.7, making it suitable for summer and warmer climates.
