What is the Divide Insulated Sleeping Pad?
It's an economical, sustainably built sleeping mat for three-season use. The Divide is an excellent option for newbie campers looking for an affordable sleeping system or regular adventurers who want to go back to basics for more leisurely overnight stays in the wild.
What is it made of?
Face fabric: The exterior of the mat is made of recycled nylon ripstop, which is incredibly durable for its weight. Being recycled gives it some extra eco-friendly credentials; plus, an aviation-grade TPU lamination enhances strength and durability, meaning it'll last you for years, making it even more sustainable as you won't need to keep buying new replacements!
The material has a much quieter finish than many other pads on the market, keeping the annoying rustling sounds to a minimum as you find a comfy position to sleep in.
Insulation: A combination of Thermolite® insulation and heat reflective film traps heat and reflects it back to the body to prevent radiant heat loss in cooler temperatures. This combination boosts the efficiency and performance of the insulation to keep you comfortable through chilly autumn nights so you can get a well-earned rest.
What are its features?
A proprietary offset I-Beam construction helps reduce the mat's overall weight without compromising performance, providing consistent stability and comfort for wriggly sleepers.
The mat measures approximately 3.25 inches thick or 3.5 with the larger outer chambers when pumped up. These chambers keep you cradled in the centre of the pad to help stop you from rolling off the mat in the middle of the night.
The high-volume dual valve allows for efficient inflation using the pump sack, fast deflation and adjustments to dial in the firmness of your mat. You also won't need to breathe yourself dizzy when pumping this mat up, as the pump sack (included) takes a gentle breath each time and does the rest of the work for you.
This sleeping mat has an R-Value of 4, meaning it's suitable for three-season use (between spring and autumn). If you're sleeping on frozen or snowy ground, we recommend using a closed-cell foam pad for extra warmth and protection.
An anti-microbial treatment in the pad helps to prevent microorganism growth, keeping mould from moisture and general bacteria at bay, helping to increase its longevity and performance.
Each Big Agnes mat gets its own seal of approval after being individually inflated and tested before leaving the factory, ensuring 100% performance and quality every time.
Repair patches are included for emergencies, along with a stuff sack and a replacement valve seal if your pad has really taken a battering.
