What is the Zoom UL Sleeping Mat?
The Zoom UL is Big Agnes' lightest insulated sleeping mat. It's the perfect companion for minimal, multi-day trips between three seasons, whether wild camping, backpacking, thru-hiking or travelling.
What is it made of?
Face fabric: The exterior of the mat is made of GRS-certified recycled nylon ripstop, which is incredibly durable for its weight. Being recycled gives it some eco-friendly credentials, reinforced with GRS certification (Global Recycled Standard), which means the products' recycled content has been tracked and verified. An aviation-grade TPU lamination enhances strength and durability, meaning it'll last you for years, making it even more sustainable as you won't need to keep buying new replacements!
The material has a much quieter finish than many other pads on the market, keeping the annoying rustling sounds to a minimum as you find a comfy position to sleep in. GRS-certification (Global Recycled Standard) means the products' recycled content has been tracked and verified.
Insulation: Two layers of heat reflective film utilise your own body heat for retaining and maximising warmth instead of using traditional insulation, which is heavier and would increase pack size, helping keep the weight to an absolute minimum.
What are its features?
Internal O-Beam construction reduces the mat's overall weight without compromising performance. It provides consistent stability and comfort, even ideal for wriggly sleepers.
When pumped up, the mat measures approximately 3.25 inches thick or 3.5 with the larger outer chambers. These chambers keep you cradled in the centre of the pad to help stop you from rolling off the mat in the middle of the night.
A single-port, dual-function valve offers quick, easy inflation and allows you to make micro-adjustments when pumped up. This option provides customisable firmness for optimum comfort, tailored just to you.
An anti-microbial treatment in the pad helps to prevent microorganism growth, keeping mould from moisture and general bacteria at bay, helping to increase its longevity and performance.
Each Big Agnes mat gets its own seal of approval after being individually inflated and tested before leaving the factory, ensuring 100% performance and quality every time.
Repair patches are included for emergencies, along with a stuff sack and a replacement valve seal if your pad has really taken a battering.
