90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.

We do not offer a free returns service. If using the DPD Returns Portal, a charge of £5 will be deducted from your refund when processed. Returns from Highlands and Islands using theDPD Returns Portalwill deduct £15.50 from the order refund. Large DPD returns will have £6 deducted from their refund. (Specifications are over 5kg, and over Length of 30cm x width of 30cm and height of 10cm). If customers are returning items using their own postal service, and our returns form, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

We are not liable for delays once an order has been dispatched. However, we will always work with the courier to assist in resolving any delivery issues where possible.

Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

To return an item to us, you must first:

  • Ensure the item is unused and in its original condition (including all label, tags and Boxes) and in a resellable condition

  • Appropriately package your item in protective packaging, failure to do so will invalidate your rights to a full refund or return (including footwear boxes which can be damaged in transit/customer care if not protected)

We cannot make any decisions before inspecting any claim. Should the item be found genuinely faulty, we aim to reach a fair and agreed solution, which may be a refund, a replacement or a professional repair.

When will I receive my refund?

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your account within 3 to 5 working days, depending on how your card provider processes refunds.

Refunds can only be made to the original payment method and are normally processed within 2 working days, however, during busy periods they can take up to 7 days.

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your PayPal account that same day.

Therefore, if within 2-years a manufacturing fault develops in the materials or construction of a product that we have sold you, we guarantee to sort it out. We aim to reach a fair and agreed solution, which may be a refund, replacement or a professional repair.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

What is the Hornet OSMO 2-P Tent?

The Hornet OSMO is a sustainable refresh of the popular NEMO Equipment Hornet tent. This update uses a pioneering, high-performance fabric called OSMO - a lightweight poly-nylon composite made from 100% recycled yarns.

This innovative OSMO fabric offers 4x longer water repellency, 3x less stretch when wet and a 20% increased tear strength than previous models. This recycled fabric is also free from harmful forever chemicals and is Bluesign® approved.

What is it made of?

Flysheet: The flysheet is made from OSMO™ ripstop 1200mm - A high-strength polyester nylon ripstop fabric that provides excellent waterproof protection with minimal weight.

Inner tent: The inner tent is made from 15D OSMO™ nylon ripstop on the lower half and the base, whilst the sides and roof are made from a lightweight and breathable mesh.

Frame: The frame is constructed from a singular Y-shaped DAC Featherlite® NSL pole that runs over the top of the tent, made from 8.5 mm aluminium.

What are its features?

Construction: This tent is quick and easy to pitch, featuring a single Y-shaped pole which runs over the top of the tent. This pole is aided by small 'Flybar' clips which create a larger interior space by pushing the mesh outwards slightly. After you've connected the inner to the poles, simply pop the flysheet over the top and peg it all out. Job done! This can easily be done in 5 minutes with a bit of practice.

Entry: This compact tent has two entry points, with easy-to-use one-handed tiebacks to maximise space. It also features two vestibules providing plenty of storage for wet and bulky items. This dual entry and vestibule combination allows you to create a wet and a dry entrance to your tent, helping to keep the inner tent nice and dry.

Space: This lightweight tent has room for two people to sleep comfortably. It features a generous peak height of 98cm, offering roomy living quarters, ideal for cooking, reading and relaxing on a wet and windy evening.

Storage: This tent has a single mesh Nightlight Pocket™ in the ceiling, made for turning your head torch into a lantern. This mesh pocket also filters out blue light and casts an even glow around your tent for a comfortable evening light level.

Ventilation: The inner mesh tent provides good breathability to the tent, even when fully zipped. However, ventilation can easily be increased to reduce condensation levels by partially opening the door towards the top, creating a vent to draw air into the tent.

This fine mesh inner tent also helps to keep unwanted bugs and midgies out of your tent. It also features two different colour mesh panels, the sides use white mesh for greater privacy, while the top uses black if you fancy a little stargazing.

Guys, Attachments & Pegs: Guylines on the tent's corners have been specifically designed to provide more room around your feet/head and reduce condensation build-up on your sleeping bag. Whilst the flybar™ volumising pole clip offers extra space at head height and distributes fly tension more evenly.

Once you are ready to pack down, you will appreciate the Divvy cube stuff sack.
