What are the Syncrino Leggings?
The Syncrino Leggings are baselayer leggings that feel cosy and soft against the skin, perfect for keeping your bottom half warm on the trails during the winter. They are ideal for various activities, including hill walking, hiking, scrambling and even mountaineering.
What are they made of?
Rab has constructed these leggings using unique Syncrino™ 125 fabric - a quick drying merino wool/polyester blend designed to wick away moisture and provide warmth when needed.
Merino wool is exceptionally comfortable and soft against the skin. It is recognised in the outdoor industry for its odour control and sweat wicking properties that help prevent moisture from collecting within the fabric when working up a sweat. It's a common issue that you may come across wearing regular cotton, which is why we recommend wearing technical baselayers instead of everyday attire. Keeping baselayers dry helps prevent heat loss occurring when the moisture gets colder and sits against the skin for long periods, so wintry days in the mountains feel much more enjoyable!
What are their features?
A lot of the techy stuff in the Syncrino family lies in the material - that's where the magic happens! However, these leggings have a flat, deep wicking waistband that feels comfortable and smooth against the skin.
Low bulk merrow seams add extra comfort and help prevent rubbing or chafing when worn for extended periods. There's a gusset added in at the crotch providing improved freedom of movement in vital areas, so you don't have to worry about splitting your pants during steep ascents!
How does it fit?
These leggings fit slim to optimise the fabric's performance as it sits closer to the skin.
