What is the Merced Anorak?
The Merced Anorak provides light protection for unpredictable conditions, whether in the city or on the hill. It's wind and water-resistant (not waterproof) and has a versatile, casual style that looks at home in all environments.
What is it made of?
This jacket comprises a blend of recycled nylon and elastane, combining longevity and freedom of movement for maximum, all-day comfort. The quick-drying, wind-resistant material (with a 7.5 CFM wind rating) features an eco-friendly, C0 water-repellent finish, offering light protection without excessive weight and bulk. However, please note this does not mean it's 100% waterproof; therefore, it will not keep you wholly shielded in heavy downpours or when exposed to heavy rain for longer periods.
What are its features?
The Merced has a breathable, ventilated back yoke with 100% recycled poly mesh lining for maximum ventilation. A three-piece hood provides shelter for the head yet can be packed away to create a clean, funnel neck look that still protects the neck. The hood has a low-profile elastic cord for adjustment and soft rubber stoppers.
Raglan sleeves enhance mobility around the arms and shoulders, while elasticated cuffs easily accommodate smart watches or chunky gloves.
A signature Merced pocket on the left features a drop-in velcro pocket, which also sits behind a zip-secure mesh pocket for additional storage.
At the hem, this jacket features a coloured elastic bungee and stopper, allowing you to cinch in the jacket, helping to keep the heat in and promoting better temperature regulation.
This jacket packs into its own kangaroo pocket and is super lightweight, weighing just over 300g, making it the perfect emergency layer when you're on the move.
