What is the Oracool Hooded Jacket?
It's a versatile, lightweight layer made with sustainable materials for various adventures and mild conditions - whether heading on a multi-day climbing trip, training at the bouldering gym or enjoying a summer's evening with friends.
What is it made of?
The Oracool is made using recycled polyester and TENCEL™ cellulose fibres.
Polyester is lightweight, durable and has a smooth finish. Of course, recycled material is much better for the planet than conventional materials and non-recycled fabrics, boosting this product's eco-friendly credentials!
Tencel® fibres are produced from sustainably sourced wood pulp using responsible processes and are certified as compostable and biodegradable. Tencel® carries multiple certifications in terms of sustainability, including the USDA biobased product certification and an EU Ecolabel, and it has a European Award for the Environment. The yarns contribute to breathability and comfort, feeling gentle on the skin.
What are its features?
The grown-on hood and full-length zip help you control warmth and ventilation depending on the conditions. There are two zipped hand pockets for keeping essentials like trail snacks, finger tape or a mobile phone, and a double-layer hem which adds a neat finish and provides extra durability near the edges without the excessive bulk. Short and sweet!
