What is the San Seco SS Shirt?
It's a lightweight, short-sleeved shirt designed for humid conditions, whether hiking a new trail, camping with friends or relaxing under the sun at the weekend. The San Seco SS uses materials certified CarbonNeutral™ by Natural Capital Partners, making it the perfect shirt for eco-conscious shoppers.
What is it made of?
The shirt is made with carbon-zero Tencel™ Modal fibres. Tencel® fibres are produced from sustainably sourced wood pulp using responsible processes and are certified as compostable and biodegradable. Tencel® carries multiple certifications in terms of sustainability, including the USDA biobased product certification, CarbonNeutral™ by Natural Capital Partners, and an EU Ecolabel. It also has a European Award for the Environment. The yarns contribute to breathability and comfort and feel gentle on the skin.
A small amount of polyester is combined with the Tencel® yarn to increase longevity and reduce wear, helping the shirt to last longer and keeping it out of landfill after just a few years.
What are its features?
A highlight of the San Seco SS Shirt is the sustainable, plastic and petroleum-free buttons. Instead, this shirt uses natural coconut buttons that are much better for the environment and are biodegradable.
Pleats at the rear yoke combined with vents at the side seam provide ample mobility around the shoulders, whilst a standard fit gives you plenty of breathing room without compromising moisture-wicking performance.
A drop-in chest pocket provides easy-access storage for glasses, mobile phones, a wallet or keys.
