90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

For your convenience, follow here to the Royal Mail Returns Portal to arrange return postage for your items. Please use our warehouse returns address (Returns, Unit H&J, Moreton Business Park, Hereford, HR4 8DS) when completing the form.

Exemptions
PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc. ), Food Goods, Accessory Cord, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What are the Heavyweight Merino Comfort Socks?

They're thick socks, fantastic for winter hiking and hill walking where you need warmth, comfort and plenty of durability to survive regular use on longer trails and mountain routes. They feel fantastic against the skin and aren't excessively bulky to fit nicely inside your boots.

What are they made of?

Constructed with a blend of merino wool, Coolmax® polyester, nylon and LYCRA®, the material feels really soft, smooth and light against the skin.

Merino wool is known for its natural odour resistance and moisture wicking properties, so no matter what boots you're wearing, you won't have to put up with clammy, sweaty feet throughout the day. It's highly breathable, promoting temperature regulation to suit any season, and low in weight and bulk for comfort.

Coolmax® fibres have been specifically developed to help your feet beat the heat (no rhyme intended). It reinforces the moisture wicking performance of the wool, allowing moisture to travel to the outside of the fabric and evaporate as efficiently as possible.

Added LYCRA® gives the socks their stretch, whilst nylon provides extra reinforcement and durability without adding excessive weight and bulk.

What are their features?

Merino Performance Fusion Technology provides all day comfort with resilient padding, durability and moisture wicking. The engineered T2 zonal padding features lightweight cushioning, minimising heat retention and allowing your feet to breathe, while large areas of sculpted open mesh help moisture move away from the foot more efficiently.

These socks are designed with a comfort fit that has a super stretchy, soft ribbed cuff around the calf that holds in place nicely to allow the socks to be worn up or down the ankle.

A Flat Toe Seam minimises bulk in the toe box, and the socks are held in place with elasticated arches and a 3D-shaped heel cup. The Bridgedale Thermo Fit process ensures that the socks return to their original shape and size after every wash.
