The main bulk of the sock is made from Merino Wool, one of the most comfortable, breathable and versatile fabrics available. It wicks away sweat, is naturally odour-resistant and features Darn Tough's Fine Gauge Knitting, meaning it's far tougher than your standard everyday sock. 35% of the sock is made from nylon, massively increasing durability, while a 2% lycra content ensures they fit like day one, even years down the line. The combination of this brilliant fabric and Darn Tough's high quality knitting ensures the sock won't bunch, slip or cause blisters.
How cushioned are they?
The Number 2's feature Darn Tough's 'cushion' weight, meaning there's plenty of padding underfoot for comfort and protection, yet the top and ankle remain uncushioned for breathability.
