What is the Astroman Air Sun Hoodie?
It's a lightweight, breathable hoodie that provides UPF protection and superior comfort for adventures under the sun, whether hiking, climbing, biking or simply exploring the city with friends.
What is it made of?
The Astroman Hoodie is made using a blend of bluesign™ approved recycled nylon and spandex to provide durability with low weight and bulk without compromising comfort. The recycled nylon is robust and has a lower environmental impact than new, conventional materials, and the spandex adds a little stretch for increased freedom of movement. It's also incredibly breathable and can wick away moisture effectively, helping you to stay fresher for longer.
bluesign® approval means the fabric is manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers and consumers. bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.
If you buy a lighter colour hoodie, the fabric will also offer UPF 30 protection, while darker colours will provide a stronger level of UPF 50+.
What features does it have?
The three-panel hood provides a better fit and protects the head, ears and neck when exploring under blue skies or climbing exposed routes, helping you avoid slathering on sticky suncream! A centre-front zipper gives you easy access and additional ventilation should you need it. Speaking of ventilation, laser-perforated holes on the side panels also enhance airflow when working hard, allowing you to better embrace that cooling summer breeze.
A left-zip chest pocket provides storage for small essentials like snacks, energy gels, finger tape or a mobile phone.
Low-Pro™ Binding cuffs cinch in material to help keep the sleeves in place when reaching up, stretching out, or even sliding a shell layer over the top.
