Consumer Contract Regulations (CCR)

What are the Consumer Contract Regulations?

Under the "Consumer Contract Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance. These rights start from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

Your right to cancel

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

Your Right to a Refund under CCR

You may get a refund within 14 days of either, the trader getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.

A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Refunding the cost of delivery

The trader has to refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service e.g. guaranteed next day, it only has to refund the basic cost.

Exemptions

There are some circumstances where the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not give you a right to cancel. These include CDs, DVDs or software if you've broken the seal on the wrapping, perishable items and tailor-made or personalised items. They also include goods with a seal for health protection and hygiene reasons that have been broken or tampered with, e.g. Climbing Equipment and PPE.

My goods are broken

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team([email protected])with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

Fjallraven Men's Keb Trousers Black

Season:SS26

Brand:Fjallraven

Code:F87176-550

ICONIC HYBRID FABRIC DESIGN What really sets the Fjällräven Keb trousers apart is their clever hybrid fabric construction. After a few days on the trail, you quickly see why these trousers are considered some of the toughest and most functional on the market.

What are the Keb Trousers?

The award-winning Keb Trousers are probably one of Fjallraven's most popular, well-loved products across the globe. They're renowned for being unbelievably durable and super comfy, making them versatile enough for virtually any mountain adventure, whether hiking, scrambling or mountaineering. Now, with an updated shape, they fit better than ever and provide optimum mobility for a myriad of activities.

What are they made of?

The Kebs are primarily made from a lightweight, four-way stretch nylon softshell. This material feels super comfortable, is quick drying and breathable enough to encourage temperature regulation for intense adventures.

Personally, I love how comfy and stretchy this material is; it really sold the Keb's for me, and I know that many of the team here at Trekitt feel the same! It feels incredibly soft but is surprisingly robust, and able to withstand bumps and scrapes in rough mountain terrain. Moreover, even after years of use, the Kebs look barely worn - they really are that durable!

This softshell material is reinforced with Fjallraven's very own G-1000® Eco in high-wear areas, including the thighs, knees, ankles and seat. G-1000® Eco is made using a blend of 65% organic cotton and 35% recycled polyester, a much more eco-friendly alternative to regular G1000®. The combination of these two technical textiles gives you a very hard-wearing and easy to move in pair of trousers - what more could you possibly want?!

What are their features?

Unlike other Fjallraven trousers, the Kebs are not adorned with a shed-load of pockets, but you do get enough storage for the essentials. There are two hand warmer pockets and two thigh pockets; the left has a zipped entry, and the right has an internal pocket to keep small valuables and tools safely tucked away.

There are also two zipped vents on each leg, one at the thigh and one on the calf, which give the Kebs true year-round versatility. Thanks to the two-way zippers, the thigh vents can be opened from the bottom or the top, to suit your preference or activity.

If you're using the Keb's for work, you can insert knee pads to provide further protection and attach braces using the attachment points. Loops at the ends of each leg allow you to attach straps or stirrups, and boot hooks at the bottom help keep the trousers in place, keeping the weather out. These hooks have been designed specially to be easily repaired or removed, improving longevity and overall functionality.

As mentioned, the fit has been updated to be more inclusive and improve freedom of movement and comfort for either day-long or multi-day adventures and expeditions.

Features:

  • Technically advanced trekking trousers with engineered fit.
  • An award-winning model, now further refined for even better performance.
  • Made from stretch fabric and G-1000 Eco for freedom of movement, durability and protection.
  • Side zippers release excess heat, and double zipper sliders mean they can be opened in both directions.
  • Extra ventilation zippers along the calves.
  • Two hand pockets plus two leg pockets with buttoned flaps, one with an interior mesh pocket.
  • Knees have openings for knee pads (sold separately)
  • Leg endings with buttoned strap adjustment, designed so that the strap can easily be removed.
  • Boot hooks at leg endings, designed so they can easily be repaired or removed.
  • Loops inside leg endings for attaching straps or stirrups.
  • Attachment zones for braces.
  • Now, with a more inclusive fit for improved freedom of movement and comfort.
Fjallraven Keb Trousers Review The Keb trousers are one of those bits of kit you grow to trust without thinking about it. On a long weekend in Snowdonia, scrambling over sharp rock and pushing through knee-high heather, they just shrugged it all off. No snags, stiffness, or feeling like you're wrapped in body armour. The G-1000 panels take the beating, while the stretch lets you climb steep steps without that awkward "tight knees" feeling you get from stiffer trousers. The thigh vents are a lifesaver when you're sweating up a climb but still need pockets you can actually use. What we love most is that they feel like they were designed by people who live outdoors. Every feature has a purpose, and after a few big trips, you realise why so many trekkers stick with Kebs for years.
All-Weather Performance One of the Keb trousers' biggest strengths is their versatility across changing conditions. Users report wearing them comfortably from chilly mornings around –4 °C to warm days close to 27 °C. The secret lies in their adaptable design: waxed G-1000 panels shed wind and light rain, while long ventilation zips on the thighs and calves let you dump heat quickly when the pace picks up. In colder weather, you can layer thermal leggings underneath without feeling restricted, and in hotter climates, the combination of breathable stretch fabric and venting makes them far less stifling than typical heavy-duty trekking trousers. This balance of protection, breathability, and adaptability means you can rely on them through shoulder-season hikes, alpine adventures, or long summer treks without needing a different pair of trousers for every trip.
How to Care for Keb Trousers – Is Waxing a Hassle? Caring for Fjällräven Keb trousers is surprisingly straightforward, and waxing isn’t the chore some might expect. The G-1000 Eco fabric is designed to be re-waxed occasionally, which not only refreshes water resistance but also extends durability. Most users simply brush off mud after a trip, hang the trousers to air, and reapply Greenland Wax when needed—a process that takes around half an hour for a thorough coat. It’s more of a quick routine than a hassle, and many trekkers find it satisfying to fine-tune their trousers’ weather protection depending on the season and conditions. FAQ

Are Keb trousers worth the price?

Yes, most trekkers say they're well worth it. The combination of tough G-1000 fabric and flexible stretch panels makes them incredibly durable yet comfortable, lasting for years of serious use.

Do Keb trousers need to be waxed often?

Not too often. A quick re-wax every so often keeps the fabric water-resistant and tough. It only takes about half an hour for a thorough coat, and many trekkers enjoy tailoring the wax level for different conditions.

Are they comfortable for climbing and scrambling?

Definitely. The articulated knees and stretch panels give excellent mobility, so much so that users joke you could “do the splits” in them. They move naturally with your body on steep climbs and technical terrain.

Do they work in winter?

Yes, with a base layer underneath they handle cold weather brilliantly. For even harsher conditions, Fjällräven also makes the Keb Agile Winter, a warmer version with extra insulation.

How durable are they?

Extremely. Reinforced G-1000 Eco panels on the knees, seat, and cuffs withstand abrasion from rock, brush, and repeated use. Many users report years of heavy trekking without wearing them out.

Are they waterproof?

Although not fully waterproof, the G-1000 Eco fabric is water-resistant and can be enhanced with Greenland Wax. It also dries quickly if it does get wet, making it reliable in varied conditions.

Do they have good pockets?

Yes, the thigh pockets are well-placed for easy access even when sitting or wearing a harness. One has a zip closure, and the other includes a mesh sleeve, perfect for maps, phones, or other quick-grab essentials.

Are Keb trousers unisex?

They come in both men's and women's versions, each tailored for fit, but the overall design and features are the same, rugged, comfortable, and built for trekking.
