What are the Abisko Hike Shorts?

What are they made from?
These shorts are constructed using G1000® Air Stretch, which comprises recycled polyester and organic cotton. This material has an incredibly smooth finish that is pleasant against the skin, whilst being light and airy to help regulate temperature. The fabric's mechanical stretch improves freedom of movement for navigating tricky terrain and steep ascents and enhances comfort for everyday wear, making it an ideal choice for hiking, trekking or travelling in warm climates.
G1000® materials can be adapted to different personal preferences or climatic conditions using Greenland Wax. The wax allows you to customise the fabric's properties, such as wind and water resistance and breathability.

What are their features?
The Abisko Hike Shorts have an integrated belt that allows you to adjust the fit around the waist, its low-bulk design feels flexible when worn meaning it won't dig in when stepping up high, climbing or scrambling- it also saves you spending extra pennies on a separate belt!
Two zippered hand pockets are great for trail snacks and energy gels, whilst the zippered pocket on the right thigh works better for chunky GPS devices, a wallet or a mobile phone that might restrict movement if placed in the higher pockets. To give you a rough idea of measurements, the inseam of these shorts is 7.6 cm/ 3 inches in size 38, which provides enough coverage for a wide range of outdoor activities.
