What are the Vardag Shorts?
They're Fjallraven's classic Vardag Pants, in the form of shorts! Made with a flattering silhouette and comfortable yet durable fabrics, they're perfect for everyday activities and outdoor pursuits during summer, whether heading out on the hill, getting lunch with friends or relaxing in the back garden.
What are they made of?
These shorts are made using the brand's very own G1000® Eco Stretch material, which comprises recycled polyester and organic cotton for a lesser environmental impact than standard materials.
G1000® Eco Stretch has a mechanical stretch that improves freedom of movement, giving you the flexibility you need on steeper ascents and for everyday comfort. It's also extremely durable and can withstand the bumps and scrapes that naturally come with outdoor activities and busy lifestyles at home.
G1000® materials can also be adapted using Fjallraven Greenland Wax, which enhances its water resistance if the weather is looking wet or showery. What are their features?
They have a high waistline and a flattering silhouette, making these shorts not only comfortable to wear, but stylish too! The wide leg openings enhance the look while providing fantastic freedom of movement and a little extra airflow for hot days - ideal for holidays abroad.
Open hand pockets and two open back pockets give you essential storage for smaller items like a mobile phone or keys. You could even hang your sunnies on one of them when they're not on your head to save them from getting scratched in your handbag or backpack.
Pleats at the front give them a more tapered, sophisticated edge that would look lovely with either a t-shirt or a blouse.
You can also adjust the hems using the buttoned straps at the side if you want to raise those tan lines a bit higher or shorten them for walking.
