What are the Tucana Pants?
They are tough, stretchy walking trousers that are suitable for various outdoor activities across the three seasons. Offering a balance of warmth, comfort and weather resistance, they're a great all-round choice for outdoor adventures in the UK.
What are they made from?
The Tucana Pants are made using Montane's own Granite Stretch fabric. As the name implies, this nylon-based material is super stretchy and tough, like granite. It's also highly breathable and wind-resistant.
The wide waistband uses the super stretchy Mala Lissom fabric, which is a soft, breathable and durable fabric that provides secure support without digging in.
This comfortable waistband is treated with a Polygiene permanent Anti-Odour control treatment to help reduce the build-up of unpleasant smells, decreasing the need for washing.
The Tucana Pants are coated with an environmentally friendly PFC-Free DWR (durable water repellent) to enhance the fabric's weather resistance and allow it to shed light rain and snow.
What are their features?
The Tucana Pants feature pre-articulated knees and a gusseted crotch for a natural range of movement whilst manoeuvring across steep and technical terrain.
A low-profile wide waistband with an internal drawcord balances support and comfort for a range of body shapes and allows you to create a supportive fit so they don't slip down as you pick up the pace.
For storage, two YKK zipped hand pockets and a concealed zipped back pocket offer a secure home for your phone, trail snacks, keys and lip balm.
