What are the Ibex Pro Pants?
The Ibex Pro Pants build on the huge success of the original Ibex Pants and feature a thicker, warmer and tougher fabric for active use in sub-zero conditions. Use them or mountaineering, alpine climbing, trekking and more.
What are they made of?
They're made using Mountain Equipment's own Exolite 250 stretch double-weave softshell fabric. This is a super-tough, breathable, water and wind-resistant fabric that's ideal for all-mountain use.
What are their features?
They feature two hand pockets, two rear pockets, two thigh pockets and two thigh vents — plenty of storage then! The thigh vents have been cleverly designed to expel hot air as you bend your leg; ideal for cooling down on the move. Other features include an adjustable waistband, some belt loops, an adjustable hem with silicone grippers and a lace hook to keep the trousers secured to your footwear.
How do they fit?
The standout feature of the Ibex (both the regular version and this Pro version) is the fit. These are a little wider than the standard Ibex Pants and fit into M.E's 'mountain fit' category. This gives you some extra space for additional layers in cold conditions.
