What are the Horizon Tights?

The Horizon Tights are made from Flexile™ and Matrix™ technical fabrics. The combination of Flexile™ and Matrix™ provides a flexible, stretchy layer that is lightweight and breathable yet durable enough to provide light weather resistance with a durable water repellent (DWR) coating.
What are their features?
The Horizon Tights have all the advantages associated with being constructed with technical fabrics such as the Flexile™ and Matrix fabrics. Not only are they lightweight yet still durable enough to endure expeditions in rocky peaks, but they also have moisture-wicking properties to enhance breathability and help you to regulate temperature. This makes them great for the gym as well as exploring the outdoors.
These leggings are reinforced with a stretch double weave fabric in high wear areas, including the seat and knees, to help prevent snagging or tears when facing rugged, technical terrain. The durable water repellent treatment helps ward off any light showers without the extra weight and bulk of regular trousers.
A deep stretch waistband with a drawcord adjustment helps to optimise comfort and personalise the fit of the leggings. A concealed zippered thigh pocket is handy for storing your phone when in the gym or snacks during weekend treks in the hills, alongside further storage, like the easy access thigh pocket with integrated overlap to keep things secure. Flatlock low bulk seams enhance comfort next to the skin whilst reducing chafing and improving the overall strength of the pants.
How do they fit?
These pants have a slim, next-to-skin fit with a snug, figure-hugging shape to optimise their performance whilst looking and feeling great.
Where do they fit in the layering system?
As they're designed to be worn next-to-skin, they are best as a lightweight outer layer for warmer months for ease of movement, less bulk and extra breathability. You can also use them as a base layer underneath regular trousers or waterproof over-pants if you're looking for some extra warmth and protection during the wintertime.
