What are the Talus Shorts?
They're highly versatile, lightweigh running shorts with ultralight and breathable liner shorts to keep you feeling cool and comfortable when running, playing sports or working out at the gym in warm climates.
What are they made from?
The shorts are constructed from a range of performance fabrics for maximum breathability and comfort in warm climates. The outer shorts are made from a lightweight softshell material called Matrix™ single weave stretch fabric. The smooth waistband is constructed from a moisture-wicking Flexile™ 100 fabric, whilst the ultralight liner shorts are made from a highly breathable Motiv™ Aero single jersey mesh.
Matrix™ single-weave stretch nylon comprises polyamide and elastane, providing the fabric with good levels of both durability and stretch. Matrix™ is wind-resistant, air-permeable and offers excellent levels of breathability. This comfortable material also provides UPF protection to shield your skin from sun exposure. It's also exceptionally light and stretchy, offering unhindered movement for moving fast and dynamically.
Flexile™ 100 is a lightweight, extra-breathable nylon and elastane stretch knit fabric. Made with a specialised blend of polyamide and elastane fibres, Flexile™ 100 offers a durable layer of moisture-wicking technology that is flexible and supportive.
Motiv™ Aero single jersey has a fine mesh structure with fast-drying, moisture-wicking properties to promote ventilation and breathability. It draws sweat and moisture away from the body, helping to keep you feeling dry and allowing you to regulate your temperature by avoiding lingering cold sweat patches. The fabric has an added odour control treatment that will help keep you feeling and smelling fresh all day long- great for endurance runs across the mountains.
The outer shorts are finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR (durable water repellent) to help the shorts shed light rain and moisture. However, please note it doesn't mean the material is fully waterproof. Fluorocarbon-free treatments are much more environmentally responsible than traditional DWR treatments because they don't use harmful forever chemicals that damage our ecosystems.
What are their features?
The Talus Shorts feature a deep stretch waistband which is both comfortable and compressive for a reassuringly secure fit, that won't feel like it's digging in or rubbing whilst you're running.
The outer shorts are light and airy, with bonded side splits for unrestricted movement, and are made from a thin softshell fabric for light protection from the elements. The ultralight inner shorts feature flatlock seams to reduce the risk of chafing and silicone grips to the bottom hem to stop them from riding up.
