90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase. We offer a 90 days return period from the date of purchase, and endeavour to process all returns within 48 hours of receipt.

We do not offer a free returns service. Therefore, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

For your convenience, follow here to the Royal Mail Returns Portal to arrange return postage for your items. Please use our warehouse returns address (Returns, Unit H&J, Moreton Business Park, Hereford, HR4 8DS) when completing the form.

Exemptions
PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc. ), Food Goods, Accessory Cord, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if they have not been worn and/or removed from their original packaging with all swing tags still attached. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety. Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

What is the Eiger Speed HS Hoodie?

It's a lightweight, breathable waterproof jacket designed for climbing and mountaineering. The versatile design of the Eiger Speed HS Hoodie also makes it suitable for scrambling and technical hiking in rugged terrain and unpredictable conditions.

What is it made of?

The primary material is 20D recycled nylon, providing sufficient durability and abrasion resistance with minimum weight and bulk. Mammut DRYtechnology™ Performance is built into the jacket for complete waterproof protection without hindering breathability. Mammut DRYtechnology™ Performance allows sweat vapour and moisture to escape from the inside of the jacket, without letting rainwater in, to help regulate your body's microclimate and prevent condensation from sweat developing.

Mammut also works with FairWear to ensure safe, ethical working conditions in their factories, helping to protect workers' rights and being considerate and sustainable with their processes.

What are its features?

A Mammut Single-Pull Hood™ allows for horizontal and vertical hood adjustment with just one hand, so if you have one hand on the rock, you can still alter the fit of your hood when the weather unleashes its worst. The hood is storm-proof and helmet-compatible so that you can wear it comfortably over a climbing helmet. A reinforced peak is also built into the hood to help keep the rain out of your eyes.

One chest pocket, with a water-repellent zipper, makes space for small essentials such as energy gels and keeps them within reach at all times.

The front of the jacket is fastened with a two-way water-repellent Vislon® AquaGuard® zip that helps to seal out the elements whilst providing access to a harness underneath.

Pre-shaped sleeves and cuffs enhance freedom of movement for technical excursions, helping to make plenty of space for reaching for that next hold.

The partially elasticated hem fine-tunes the fit, hugging the hips to seal out the weather without feeling restrictive.

Finally, this shell jacket comes with an additional stow bag featuring a carabiner loop that allows you to pack it away quickly on the go and hook it to a backpack or harness when not in use, keeping it handy for sudden downpours.
