Lowe Alpine have developed their ND packs specifically to fit women. All aspects of the carrying system have been engineered for maximum comfort and fit. This brand new Cerro Torre pack will provide stable and comfortable load carrying for extended treks and expeditions and is built to withstand the kind of abuse and hardship those adventures can inflict on your gear.
The key element of this pack is the new and exclusive Axiom+ back system. Lowe Alpine have designed the system to be easily adjusted, even when wearing the pack, extremely comfortable, supportive, breathable and with a low profile. Adjusting the back length to achieve a custom fit couldn't be simpler; with the pack on pull the black cord to unlock the system, then pull the grey cord to adjust the shoulder straps, release the black cord then release the grey cord. Axiom+ also features a rotating hip belt that moves with your body as you walk yet still offers maximum stability and support. Being able to so easily adjust the pack means that you can vary the load between shoulders and hips depending on the terrain. The moulded back panel features air channels to help with ventilation and a sprung steel frame stabilises the load and distributes the weight evenly.
Access to the main compartment is via the top lid which features an internal security pocket, but you can also get to your kit via an external front zip or through the base compartment. The base compartment has a divider that can be removed to create a larger internal space. You wont be short of places to stash your gear as the Cerro Torre is festooned with pockets, a large front pocket, two hip belt pockets and two stretch side pockets. Trekking poles are secured using the versatile tip gripper and pole loops and ice axes can be attached using the stowable loops. External compression straps help to stabilise the load and can be used for additional storage along with the accessory straps and strong lash points.
A neat feature for extra versatility is a removable and lightweight hydration pack that has enough storage for spare clothing and essential items making it perfect for day trips and excursions when you wouldn't want to carry everything with you.
