What are the On Sight Pants?
The popular On Sight Pants are back! Designed for climbers, by climbers, the toughest of moves and the biggest of steps will no longer feel restricted thanks to these functional trousers. They are super tough, so a scrape on the rock won’t cause them to wear, while feeling really comfortable, making the perfect transition pants from crag to post-climb pub socials.
What are they made of?
These pants are made from a 97% organic cotton blend, with 3% elastane added for stretch and comfort. The material is breathable and will help provide you with better ventilation, ideal for keeping cool when pushing hard.
Organic cotton is one of the most environmentally friendly materials there is on the market. It uses less energy and releases fewer greenhouse gases into the atmosphere throughout the manufacturing process. This credible material makes the On Sight Pants a more sustainable option when looking for crag trousers. Plus, cotton blends are durable and super long lasting, bonus!
What are their features?
Starting from the top, we have a waistband with zipper fly, press stud and button closure which will give you the security that you need when tackling a more technical ascent. To secure the fit further, belt loops sit around the waist as an additional option.
There are two deep front pockets and two rear pockets to carry around your essentials like keys or energy gels. There is even an exceptionally handy brush slot, that will help eliminate faff and allow full focus on your next move.
Again, another super handy feature is the integral chalk bag loop, it's one of those ‘you didn’t think you needed it, until you had it’ type of details. Once you get used to it, you can’t live without it!
The gusseted crotch will open a wider range of movement – essential for climbing pants. The adjustable hem can be tightened or loosened to your desired fit around the ankle, helping to keep the heat in on warmer days and preventing fabric gaping around the lower leg. Twin stuck in seams will reduce the risk of irritation that is caused by chafing, especially if you’re wearing them for long periods, spending a day or even a weekend in the mountains.
