The Oakley O2 XL Snow Goggles fit amazingly well, are compatible with most helmets, they have enough room for glasses and most importantly they won’t break the bank.
The triple-layer foam fleece forms well with face contours for a comfortable fit that doesn’t pinch the nose. The different densities help to wick away moisture extremely quickly. The foam also provides greater airflow to your face to regulate temperature but also aids the de-misting of the Dual-Vented Lens along with F2 Anti-fog coating.
Personally I have found that most goggle lenses will fog up if you are warm, sweaty and stop for a breather, however once you start moving again and the air is pushed through the vents and they do clear up super quick. What I do is lift my goggles until I’m good to go, problem solved
This pair of goggles comes with 2 lenses to deal with changing light conditions, simply pull the stress resistant OMatter frame away from the already installed lens and pop in the other one. The High Intensity Yellow lens is your flat light lens; this increases contrast enabling you to see the contours of the piest even in very flat light allowing you to make the correct line choice and avoid disaster. Alternatively for those bluebird days we all love, you have a dark grey lens to shield your eyes from the glaring white snow.
The easy to adjust strap allows you to alter the fit depending on your choice of headwear whilst the silicone banding on the inside eliminates unwanted slippage. Finally in true Oakley style the Lexun lens material offers 100% protection against UVA, UVB and UVC, whilst also protecting your eyes from snow spray and face plants.
