Consumer Contract Regulations (CCR)

What are the Consumer Contract Regulations?

Under the "Consumer Contract Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance. These rights start from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

Your right to cancel

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

Your Right to a Refund under CCR

You may get a refund within 14 days of either, the trader getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.

A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Refunding the cost of delivery

The trader has to refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service e.g. guaranteed next day, it only has to refund the basic cost.

Exemptions

There are some circumstances where the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not give you a right to cancel. These include CDs, DVDs or software if you've broken the seal on the wrapping, perishable items and tailor-made or personalised items. They also include goods with a seal for health protection and hygiene reasons that have been broken or tampered with, e.g. Climbing Equipment and PPE.

My goods are broken

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team([email protected])with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

Injinji Women's Liner plus Hiker Toe Socks Maroon Heather Grey

Season:SS26

Brand:Injinji

Code:333379-MOO

TWO LAYERS. LESS FRICTION. The thin toe-sock liner sits close to your skin, while the cushioned Hiker sock fits over the top. Together, they help manage moisture and reduce the rubbing that can cause hotspots and blisters. It is a clever setup for long walks, backpacking trips and anyone whose feet tend to suffer as the miles add up.

What are the Injinji Women's Liner + Hiker Crew Socks?

The Injinji Liner + Hiker Crew Sock combo keeps your feet dry, comfortable, and blister-free. Whether you're hitting the trails for a day hike or taking on a long backpacking journey, this two-layer setup gives your feet the care they deserve.

What are they made of?

The Liner Layer

The first component of the set is the Liner sock. This layer comprises 75% CoolMax EcoMade, 21% nylon, and 4% Lycra. It's ultra-thin, breathable, and designed to fit snugly against the skin. One of its key functions is moisture management—CoolMax EcoMade actively wicks sweat away from the skin, keeping your feet dry and comfortable even during intense activity.

The Hiker Layer

The outer layer of the set is the Hiker sock, crafted for warmth, comfort, and durability. It's made from a blend of 43% wool, 43% acrylic, 12% nylon, and 2% Lycra. Wool provides natural thermal regulation—keeping feet warm in cold conditions and cool in warmer environments—while resisting odours and absorbing moisture. Acrylic enhances the plush feel and boosts cushioning, making each step more comfortable, especially over long distances. Nylon contributes to the sock's durability and structural integrity, ensuring it holds up against abrasion and frequent wear. A touch of Lycra adds stretch, helping the sock conform to your foot for a secure, stay-put fit.

What are their features?

Blister Prevention Through Toe Separation

Unlike traditional socks that encase all your toes together, this liner wraps each toe in its own fabric sleeve. By creating a barrier between each toe, the sock eliminates the skin-on-skin friction that commonly leads to hotspots and blisters, especially during long hikes or high-intensity activity.

This separation also allows your toes to splay and move more naturally, improving balance and comfort on uneven terrain. It's ideal for runners, hikers, and anyone prone to friction-based foot discomfort.

Fit for Narrower Feet

These socks are designed with a narrower fit and provide a secure, stay-put feel ideal for anyone with slimmer feet. The contoured shape enhances comfort and helps prevent slipping and bunching, making them a reliable choice for hiking, trail running, or everyday wear.

Targeted Cushioning for Comfort

Each pair includes a padded footbed that offers the right balance of softness and support. This targeted cushioning helps absorb impact underfoot, making it ideal for rugged, rocky trails or long days when constantly moving. It reduces fatigue by easing pressure on high-impact zones like the heel and ball of the foot—keeping you comfortable from the first to the last step.

Supportive Arch Band

To enhance stability and reduce foot strain, the socks feature a supportive arch band that gently hugs your foot, providing a secure fit that helps prevent slippage inside your shoe. They offer that snug, "locked-in" feel that helps maintain comfort and control during active use.

Breathable Mesh Top

A thoughtfully designed mesh panel across the top of the foot promotes airflow where you need it most. This breathability helps regulate temperature, prevent hotspots, and manage moisture—keeping your feet cooler and fresher for longer, even on warm-weather hikes or high-output days.

Built on the Trail Midweight Crew Platform

All of these features are built on the proven Trail Midweight Crew sock platform. This means they rise to a mid-calf height that’s just right for protecting against dirt, pebbles, and brush—without feeling bulky inside your boots. The midweight construction also perfectly balances warmth and breathability, offering year-round versatility for a range of trail conditions.

Features:

  • Protective Cushion
  • Arch Support
  • Mesh Top
  • COOLMAX EcoMade Fibres
  • Blister prevention
  • Toe separation
  • Crew length
  • Limited-edition artist design
  • Slim fit
Trekitt Review What makes this set stand out is that it tackles foot comfort in two different ways. The liner helps control friction and moisture close to the skin, while the outer sock adds the warmth and cushioning you would expect from a proper hiking sock. It is especially useful for longer trips where a small hotspot can quickly become a much bigger problem.
Do You Wear Both Socks Together? Yes. The lightweight toe-sock liner is worn directly against your skin, with the thicker Hiker sock over the top. The liner manages moisture and separates each toe, while the outer layer provides cushioning, warmth and extra durability.
Are They Too Warm for Summer? Despite the two-layer design, the liner is extremely thin and uses moisture-wicking CoolMax EcoMade fibres. The wool-blend outer sock also helps regulate temperature, while the mesh panel improves airflow across the top of the foot. This makes the set suitable for year-round hiking rather than winter use alone.

FAQ

How do the Injinji Liner and Hiker socks help prevent blisters?

The liner wraps each toe individually, creating a fabric barrier that reduces skin-on-skin friction. It also wicks moisture away from the foot, while the outer Hiker sock provides cushioning and further reduces rubbing inside your footwear.

Can the liner socks be worn on their own?

Yes, although they are very thin and provide minimal cushioning. They work best beneath the included Hiker socks, but can also be worn alone for lightweight activities or inside close-fitting footwear.

Are these socks suitable for long-distance hiking?

Yes. The two-layer construction, toe separation, arch support and cushioned footbed make them particularly well suited to long hikes, backpacking trips and multi-day adventures.

Will the two layers make my hiking boots feel tighter?

The liner is extremely thin, but the complete set may take up slightly more room than a single lightweight sock. Your walking boots or shoes should have enough space around the toes to avoid unwanted pressure.

Do Injinji socks feel unusual between the toes?

They can feel different when you first put them on, especially if you have never worn toe socks before. Most people adjust quickly, and the individual toe sleeves should sit smoothly without bunching or pulling.

Are the socks suitable for hiking boots?

Yes. Their crew length provides coverage above most walking boots and helps protect the lower leg from dirt, debris and rubbing around the cuff.

How should I wash the Injinji Liner and Hiker socks?

Follow the care instructions supplied with the socks. Washing them at a low temperature and allowing them to air dry will generally help preserve their shape, stretch and performance.
