What is the Neon Rope Tarp?
It's a tarp piece designed to lay flat on the ground and act as a barrier between dirt and your gear, whether a climbing rope, shoes or a chalk bag. The Neon Rope Tarp helps you keep your gear clean and well-protected to make it last even longer!
What is it made of?
This product is comprised of 100% recycled polyester, which is lightweight, packable and durable. Being 100% recycled, Mammut has helped to keep materials in the loop instead of going to waste. Using recycled materials also helps avoid the need for new materials, reducing emissions and the use of fossil fuels for production.
The material is treated with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) for water resistance, so if a light shower occurs or the ground is a little damp, water should bead off instead of soaking in. Although, please note that DWR doesn't make it completely waterproof. Avoiding PFCs in this treatment helps reduce environmental impact, as it eliminates the use of harmful forever chemicals that permanently pollute our ecosystems.
Mammut works with FairWear to ensure safe, ethical working conditions in their factories, helping to protect workers' rights and being considerate and responsible with their processes.
What are its features?
You can fit a rope of up to 80 metres on the mat, along with your usual kit like shoes and a chalk bag if you're having a little rest.
A drawstring closure system pulls the tarp together if you're moving spots, and you can carry the load with ease using the two large handles.
Two colour-coded loops also make easy work of tie-ins.
