What is the UCO ECO Mess Kit?
It's a five-piece kit made with entirely recycled materials to save harmful plastics going to landfill. This kit contains everything you need to store and eat your food on the trails, around town or camp, or you could even use the tupperware to store leftovers in the fridge at home.
What is it made from?
As mentioned, the Mess Kit comprises durable, 100% recycled (and recyclable) polypropylene, so although it's made of plastic, this set is really eco-friendly! You'll also be relieved to know that the materials used to ensure that these items are BPA-free, Phthalate-free and FDA-food safe.
What are its features?
The Mess Kit includes one bowl/container, a lid/plate, a two-piece Switch Spork (which in itself includes a fork, spoon and knife) and one tether to hold everything together.
The lid locks onto the container securely and has a silicone gasket seal that prevents leakage when closed. If you have food you need to heat up, the set is microwave-safe and dishwasher safe too! So you don't have to worry about washing up afterwards.
