What is the Hi and Light Leash?

Built with webbing inspired by rock climbing slings, this lightweight lead has an impressive strength-to-weight ratio and boasts Ruffwear's secure Crux Clip™ leash attachment.
What is it made from?
The Hi and Light Leash is created from super strong webbing inspired by rock climbing slings, which are known for their impressive strength-to-weight ratio. This ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene webbing is small, compact and surprisingly strong.
Ruffwear's leash attachment Crux Clip™ is made from Anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, which is a sturdy-yet-lightweight aluminium, that delivers exceptional strength in a low-profile design. The lockable component of the clips is made from injection-moulded acetal polymer, which is a durable, UV-stable and highly reliable engineered plastic that can hold up to years of daily use in varying weather conditions.

The Hi and Light Dog Leash features a minimalist design to keep its pack size down. However, it does feature a low-profile pick-up bag stash pocket, so you can keep an emergency poop bag to hand and Ruffwear's light and strong Crux Clip™ leash attachment.
The Crux Clip™ is an innovative lockable component that provides a reassuring, secure connection between the lead and your dog's collar or harness. Once clipped in, engage the lock by pushing the lock up with your thumb. To unlock and unclip, pull back on the lock down with two fingers and depress the wiregate.
