What is the Storm 450?
It's a versatile, dual-fuel head torch that provides visibility for poor or dark conditions in all weather, thanks to its durable, waterproof construction. The Storm 450 offers a bright output and has a variety of settings and features to suit your activity.
What are its features?
The lamp provides a 450-lumen maximum output and ample lighting for various locations and conditions. It has a dual-fuel configuration. You can use the rechargeable BD 1500 Li-ion battery and charger (sold separately) for a more sustainable power source. Alternatively, you can use three AAA Alkaline Cell batteries (included) which are especially handy as a backup option for long expeditions in remote locations.
It has multiple settings, including full-strength (in proximity), dimming and strobe-style lighting, and a super cool night vision with red, green and blue beams to help adapt to your environment or task.
A clever brightness memory feature allows you to turn the headlamp on and off at the last used brightness level, meaning you don't have to fiddle around to find your favourite settings every time you use it!
If you're travelling through rainy conditions or paddling across rivers, an IP67 waterproof rating offers reassurance that this torch can operate under at least one metre of water for 30 minutes.
Settings are quick and effortless to adjust with the built-in PowerTap™ Technology. Simply tap the side of the device to flick between maximum output and dimmed power settings - super handy with cold fingers or chunky gloves.
For added efficiency, the lock mode helps prevent accidental use when stored in a pack or pocket, preserving the battery when needed.
