The Grangers Footwear Care Kit includes Footwear and Gear Cleaner, Footwear Repel, Odour Eliminator and a Footwear Brush, making it ideal for any footwear, regardless of material.
To break it down, the Footwear and Gear Cleaner is a bluesign® approved, spray-on solution that removes dirt and grime from your shoes and boots alongside other bits of kit like a rucksack or tent - bonus! Being bluesign® approved ensures that no harmful chemicals are used in the solution, nor were any harmful processes used to make it.
Footwear Repel Plus comes hand-in-hand with the Cleaner. It's another spray-on solution and replaces Grangers' classic Footwear Repel. Repel Plus enhances the durability and conditions materials while reproofing them to give back their (almost) original level of water resistance. It's suitable for a range of footwear and materials, including Suede, Nubuck, Leather and Fabric.
The Footwear Brush is ideal for removing dried mud and stubborn dirt - it's best to use before cleaning or reproofing, as proofing solutions don't stick well to dirt. The brush also has a pointed end which is ideal for cleaning treads and hard-to-reach areas.
Finally, the Odour Eliminator does exactly what it says on the tin. It gets rid of nasty odours, tackling them at the source instead of temporarily covering them, so no matter how sweaty your feet get, you won't have to worry about ruining your boots or offending your fellow adventurers. The Odour Eliminator is kind to breathable membranes and water repellent finishes, ensuring that your boots' performance doesn't get compromised as a result.
