What is the Quickdraw 3L Gravity Filter System?
It's a three-litre water system that lets gravity do the work. This system is the most versatile gravity system on the market; it can transform into a squeezy set-up any time you like, should you prefer. You can also use it with your own reservoirs and bottles, allowing for fuss-free, clean drinking water anywhere!
What are its features?
This device features an I/O (inside/outside) dual-thread design, with the ConnectCap™, quick connector-fitted hose and the Bottle Adapter, which securely adapts to smartwater® bottles, most Platypus bottles, reservoirs and many common drinks bottles (please see features list below for specific compatibility information).
The proprietary, tri-layer film 'dirty reservoir' is plastic-taste-free and has a detachable hanging handle with an easy-fill, wide-mouth opening. It's incredibly durable and packable, weighing just 233g, making it easy to stow away in a backpack or kit bag for travelling further afield.
Hollow fibres in the filter itself filter 1.75 litres per minute in a gravity set-up and three litres per minute with squeeze pressure, allowing for a fast-flowing filtration system that doesn't just work exceptionally well but saves time, too!
If you're on a longer trip, you can shake the system to clean it or backflush to keep the water flowing efficiently.
Each filter is individually tested to a high standard for safety precautions, meeting all EPA and NSF guidelines for the removal of 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa (including Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Salmonella and Cholera).
