What are the Cyrus 2 Mid GTX Boots?
They're waterproof walking boots modelled on Scarpa's bestselling Cyrus series. Now, with a more durable, modern design, they provide optimum comfort and protection for walking, hill walking, rambling, and general outdoor activities.
What are they made of?
The Cyrus 2 Mid GTX boots feature nubuck uppers, which are incredibly durable yet supple and comfortable to wear. The nubuck is thermo-embossed to help increase the lifespan of these shoes and prevent them from losing their structure over time.
A PFAS-free Gore-Tex® ePE Most Breathable lining provides ample waterproof protection with optimum breathability to regulate temperature and manage moisture efficiently. The Gore-Tex® membrane is also bluesign® approved, meaning it's manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers and consumers. Furthermore, bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.
An EVA midsole includes enhanced styling and increased underfoot cushioning.
Combining an Energy 3 sole with a Presa® outsole provides comfort and support with ample grip on varied terrain (including wet). The Presa® sole features a super gum compound for extra stick, enhanced underfoot traction, more aggressive heel braking and a new, self-cleaning lug pattern, meaning you can dig your heels into the dirt without the risk of slipping later on.

The mid-height design adds extra ankle protection and support when navigating uneven terrain.
Fewer stitch lines provide a cleaner look and enhance durability, as the seams are less exposed to potential abrasion. A bonded-strobel hybrid construction provides extra support and can be resoled, helping these shoes last even longer and, therefore, improving their environmental impact.
Scarpa ActivImpact technology helps to absorb shock, while the ActivFit System uses specific shoe shaping to guarantee absolute comfort and deliver maximum performance by hugging the foot and ankle comfortably when the foot naturally rocks on and off the ground.
Critical ankle points and tongue zones receive revised ergonomic padding with enhanced 'soft touch' comfort. Lastly, improved underfoot cushioning feels luxurious for day-long excursions yet doesn't hinder balance or foot fatigue.
