What is the ROC Down Hoodie?
The ROC Down Hoodie is basically a tougher and more burly version of Haglofs' popular L.I.M Down hoodie. Designed for versatile use both on and off the mountain, this durable, insulated jacket is filled with 800FP high-quality hydrophobic down, that will stay dry for up to 5,000 minutes of exposure to wet conditions, making it perfect for hiking, hill-walking and everyday use in the unpredictable British weather.
What is it made from?
The ROC Down Hoodie uses high-quality Pertex® Quantum to encase premium 800FP hydrophobic down insulation for maximum warmth.
Insulation: Haglofs has filled the jacket with 99g of fully traceable 800-fill power H DOWN Gold, which is superior quality down with a 90% down, 10% feather ratio for optimum warmth to weight. The down is treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR to help the down retain its thermal performance even in humid conditions and to speed up drying time if it does get wet.
The hydrophobic treatment gives a water-resistant coating to each individual down cluster, enabling the insulation to stay dry for up to 5,000 minutes when exposed to wet conditions. Pretty impressive! However, if the forecast predicts heavy downpours, pack a waterproof shell for extra protection. This treatment is also bluesign® approved for extra eco-friendly reassurance.
Outer: The outer of the jacket is constructed from a durable, mini ripstop 20D Pertex® Quantum fabric. Pertex® Quantum uses a light woven structure made of incredibly fine yarns to allow insulation to loft fully. It provides windproof protection and is treated with a durable water repellent to add further weather resistance and is also bluesign® approved.

What are its features?
The ROC Down Hoodie has a nano offset baffle construction across the body, maximising warmth and preventing cold gaps from seams and stitching. Nano baffles help prevent down migration and provide an even spread of heat without the bulk.
An adjustable hood allows you to adapt to fit different head shapes and tailor protection from the elements, depending on the conditions. It offers room for layer-over beanies and midlayers when temperatures plummet. A reinforced peak to the hood helps provide added protection from the elements by providing a little extra coverage above the head.
Elasticated cuffs help the jacket to retain heat while providing flexibility around the joints for technical moves.
Two zippered hand pockets provide storage for hill snacks and possessions you might need to grab quickly, whilst a zipped chest pocket provides secure storage for more valuable items such as a mobile phone or GPS device.
The ROC Down Hoodie is fastened with a simple zipped closure with a wind baffle to help reduce heat loss through the zip and a soft chin guard to eliminate any discomfort caused by the zip around your face when fully fastened.
