We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.
Please note: Our DPD Returns Portal is temporarily unavailable for a couple of weeks while we make improvements to the service. During this time, customers will need to arrange their own return postage.
We do not offer a free returns service. Customers returning items using their own postal service and our returns form are responsible for any postage costs when returning goods (excluding warranty returns).

  • Ensure the item is unused and in its original condition (including all label, tags and Boxes) and in a resellable condition

We cannot make any decisions before inspecting any claim. Should the item be found genuinely faulty, we aim to reach a fair and agreed solution, which may be a refund, a replacement or a professional repair.

When will I receive my refund?

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your account within 3 to 5 working days, depending on how your card provider processes refunds.

Refunds can only be made to the original payment method and are normally processed within 2 working days, however, during busy periods they can take up to 7 days.

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your PayPal account that same day.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

What is the Nordes Hoodie?

It's the ultimate wear all-day softshell jacket for long days in the hills and mountains. Hardworking and practical, it blends the latest softshell technologies and Gore-Tex Windstopper ePE to deliver highly durable and breathable protection from the elements. This fantastic, high-performance, stretchy jacket moves with you, providing lasting comfort during fast-paced pursuits, intense mountain missions and long days out on the hill.

What is it made from?

The Nordes Hoodie combines 70D Gore-Tex Windstopper ePE and Montane's Granite Stretch fabric in a body-mapped construction to perfectly balance weather protection, durability and breathability. The result is a robust, stretchy and versatile softshell jacket that'll move with you throughout your adventure and easily handle unpredictable weather conditions.

Montane has used 70D Gore-Tex Windstopper™ ePE across the tops of the arms, back yoke and hood for maximum wind protection in key areas. This durable Gore-Tex Windstopper™ outer features a recycled flannel backer to enhance the fabric's ability to transport moisture and provide additional warmth. The outer fabric comprises 100% recycled nylon, whilst the flannel backer uses a soft 100% recycled polyester and is also solution-dyed. Both the outer and the lining are Bluesign® & Oeko-tex® certified, helping to add to this jacket's great eco-credentials.

The Nordes Hoodie uses the latest Gore-Tex ePE membrane for a more environmentally responsible construction. This new Windstopper™ ePE membrane offers a durable, totally windproof, breathable and water-resistant performance, creating a permeable layer for sweat to escape through the membrane and wick away when you're working hard. If you were wondering, ePE stands for expanded polyethene, which is light, thin yet durable, and PFC-free. If you're familiar with Trekitt descriptions, you may have seen that 'PFC-free' phrase floating around before. PFCs are per or poly-fluorinated chemicals, aka 'forever chemicals' that stay permanently in the environment and cause lasting damage to our ecosystems. Many companies are working towards a completely PFC-free future, so this is quite a breakthrough for the Gore-Tex® brand! In addition, this membrane has a reduced carbon footprint, as it uses laminates with a lower-mass membrane and select textiles, making it an ideal choice for more environmentally conscious adventurers.

Montane's Granite Stretch softshell fabric is used under the arms and to the torso to provide exceptional durability, breathability and a fantastic four-way stretch. Granite Stretch comprises recycled nylon and elastane and is constructed with a robust double weave with a soft peached backer for enhanced comfort and moisture transportation. The incredibly abrasion-resistant outer allows it to excel in rocky, mountainous environments and easily withstand the rigour of frequent use in the great outdoors.

As if all that wasn't enough, the jacket is then finished with a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellant) to further enhance the outer material's water-resistance properties. Although this jacket can easily shed light rain, for prolonged downpours, we'd always recommend packing a hardshell jacket for when the heavens open.

What are its features?

Starting from the top, a fully adjustable hood with a laminated peak helps shield you from the elements, keeping rain and snow away from your face. The hood is helmet-compatible, allowing it to easily cinch down over your helmet to provide maximum vision when climbing or skiing.

The Nordes is fastened with a two-way YKK centre front zip with an internal storm flap for additional protection from the elements, helping to further keep rain and wind from reaching you inside the jacket. The two-way zip provides flexible ventilation options and easy access for use with a climbing harness. It also gives additional freedom of movement through the hips if required; simply partially unzip it from the bottom for a greater range of movement to tackle steep ascents.

Quick action pit zips offer quick and easy ventilation on the go without the need to unzip the main jacket when the trail gets tough. These zips allow you to tailor both weather protection and ventilation to suit the changing needs of your adventure.

For storage, you'll find two zipped chest pockets, two zipped hand pockets, an internal drop pocket, and a zipped ski pass pocket. These offer ample space for all your adventure essentials such as gloves, a beanie, trail snacks, energy gels, a mobile phone, a GPS device, and that all-important ski pass.

The sleeves are articulated to offer a natural range of movement and excellent reach for various mountain activities and dynamic movements. Adjustable cuffs provide the perfect fit, even around chunky gloves. The fully adjustable bottom hem helps further seal out the elements and tailor the fit depending on the thickness of your layers.

Finally, the Nordes Hoodie is created with a trim fit in Montane's new fit block which features an improved fit around the shoulders and upper torso for optimum arm articulation and reach for various mountain sports whilst still sitting close to the body for optimal thermal performance and minimum bulk.
