90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.
Please note: Our DPD Returns Portal is temporarily unavailable for a couple of weeks while we make improvements to the service. During this time, customers will need to arrange their own return postage.
We do not offer a free returns service. Customers returning items using their own postal service and our returns form are responsible for any postage costs when returning goods (excluding warranty returns).

Zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

To return an item to us, you must first:

  • Ensure the item is unused and in its original condition (including all label, tags and Boxes) and in a resellable condition

  • Appropriately package your item in protective packaging, failure to do so will invalidate your rights to a full refund or return (including footwear boxes which can be damaged in transit/customer care if not protected)

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team ([email protected]) with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

In return, they will supply you with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN), a Returns Form and a FREE postage label. Please complete the returns form with as much detail as possible and include it with your item.

We cannot make any decisions before inspecting any claim. Should the item be found genuinely faulty, we aim to reach a fair and agreed solution, which may be a refund, a replacement or a professional repair.

We do not offer exchanges. Instead we ask you kindly to complete a new order for the desired replacement and return the unwanted Good(s) for a refund. We acknowledge that this might seem more complicated, we can assure you it is by far the most efficient and fastest way to ensure that you receive the goods you require.

Any returns sent back requesting an exchange will be refunded in line with our returns process.

You can exchange internet purchases at the Trekitt Service Centre in Hereford, to speed things along please remember to present the sales invoice supplied by us in respect of such Goods as proof of purchase. Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your account within 3 to 5 working days, depending on how your card provider processes refunds.

Refunds can only be made to the original payment method and are normally processed within 2 working days, however, during busy periods they can take up to 7 days.

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your PayPal account that same day.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

What is the Phase Jacket?

This updated version of Montane's Phase Jacket is built with the latest Gore-Tex ePE technology for a more environmentally responsible approach to waterproof shell jackets. This versatile shell jacket is ideal for everyday wear and moderate outdoor activities across the seasons, delivering reliable protection for venturing out in wet weather

What is it made from?

Montane has used a highly durable 70 denier Gore-Tex ePE fabric with Gore performance technology for reliable protection from the elements. Despite its tough 70 denier construction, this plain weave fabric feels surprisingly smooth and low bulk, yet reassuringly sturdy. A smooth nylon tricot backer provides a soft, comfortable next-to-skin feel and frictionless layering.

The face fabric is made from recycled nylon and utilises the latest Gore-Tex ePE technology to provide a hydrostatic head rating of 28,000 mm and a RET breathability statistic of <20, making it an ideal choice for moderate outdoor activities and everyday use.

This latest Gore-Tex® ePE technology is made using recycled fabrics and without the use of PFAS/PFC chemicals for a significantly reduced environmental impact. If you were wondering, PFAS/PFCs are per or poly-fluorinated chemicals, aka 'forever chemicals' that stay permanently in the environment and cause lasting damage to our ecosystems. This is why many companies are working towards a completely PFC-free future, and this latest membrane from Gore-Tex® is a big step forward for the brand.

The jacket is finished with a PFC-Free DWR (durable water repellent) coating to encourage rain, snow and mud to bead off the jacket instead of soaking in, helping to keep the jacket's waterproof membrane clean, protected and in tip-top shape.

All fabrics used in the Jacket are Bluesign® approved, meaning they're manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers and consumers. Bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.

What are its features?

Starting from the top, a fully adjustable hood with a laminated peak provides essential shelter from the elements. The hood features Montane's PIVOT 2 hood system, which can be adjusted with one hand to provide independent aperture and crown adjustment for a secure, tailored fit that moves with you.

An internal rear neck guard adds structure to the jacket and helps to protect the jacket from oil contamination, safeguarding the long-term performance of the waterproof membrane. The jacket boasts an innovative Sew-Free construction which utilises fully bonded pockets and zips to minimise weight and bulk while maximising breathability, comfort and packability, all without sacrificing protection or performance. Thoughtfully designed offset seams throughout the jacket improve durability across the seams, enhancing comfort levels and extending the jacket's longevity.

At the front is a two-way YKK Aquaguard® Natulon recycled zip with an inner Storm Guard placket to provide an additional barrier against the elements. The zip can be undone from the bottom up, allowing extra ventilation around your midsection or for use with a climbing harness. Innovative Barrier technology at all openings and hems actively combats water ingress by preventing the wicking of external moisture throughout the day, ensuring you stay dry in demanding conditions.

For storage, two hand pockets offer a safe place to stow away gloves, snacks and energy gels. These pockets are also covered and fastened with YKK Aquaguard Natulon recycled zips to ensure waterproof protection along each opening. For more valuable items like a mobile phone or GPS device, there's an internal zipped chest pocket to give you peace of mind that you won't lose them in the mountains. The pockets are constructed with breathable Air-Line pocket liners that significantly enhance overall 'full garment breathability' levels.

Two-way, Sew-Free pit zips offer versatile ventilation options, allowing you to quickly dump heat if required while providing good coverage to protect you during downpours. The two-way zip enables you to easily adapt the jacket's ventilation depending on the level of weather protection needed.
