90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.

We do not offer a free returns service. If using the DPD Returns Portal, a charge of £5 will be deducted from your refund when processed. Returns from Highlands and Islands using theDPD Returns Portalwill deduct £15.50 from the order refund. Large DPD returns will have £6 deducted from their refund. (Specifications are over 5kg, and over Length of 30cm x width of 30cm and height of 10cm). If customers are returning items using their own postal service, and our returns form, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

When will I receive my refund?

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your account within 3 to 5 working days, depending on how your card provider processes refunds.

Refunds can only be made to the original payment method and are normally processed within 2 working days, however, during busy periods they can take up to 7 days.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

What is the Pluma Pro Jacket?

The Pluma Pro is designed to work as hard as you do, whether climbing or mountaineering in challenging, technical terrain. It provides complete waterproof protection with ample breathability and is made from durable recycled materials to optimise performance with a lesser environmental impact.

What is it made of?

The Pluma Pro is constructed using a supple, durable, 100% recycled three-layer Gore-Tex® ePE Pro alpine shell. This shell is completely waterproof yet incredibly breathable to aid temperature regulation, offering premium storm protection without intentionally added PFAS chemicals. It also has a ripstop backer for extra reinforcement, helping this jacket to endure bumps and scrapes in rugged terrain, and a (PFAS-free) durable water-repellent finish.

If you were wondering, ePE stands for expanded polyethene, which is light, thin yet durable, and PFC-free. If you're familiar with Trekitt descriptions, you may have seen that 'PFC-free' phrase floating around before. PFCs are per or poly-fluorinated chemicals, aka 'forever chemicals' that stay permanently in the environment and cause lasting damage to our ecosystems. Many companies are working towards a completely PFC-free future, so this is quite a breakthrough for the Gore-Tex® brand! In addition, this membrane has a reduced carbon footprint, as it uses laminates with a lower-mass membrane and select textiles, making it an ideal choice for more environmentally conscious adventurers.

The material itself provides complete waterproof and windproof protection, with ample breathability to prevent sweat and condensation from building up inside, helping regulate body temperature. Overall, it has been rigorously tested to ensure a long-lasting product life, which adds to those eco-friendly credentials, as you won't need to buy a new replacement for a long time, saving energy, resources and waste. If it begins to wet out, no stress. Simply wash your waterproof with the appropriate tech wash and re-apply the DWR as often as necessary.

The fabric is bluesign® approved, meaning it's manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers and consumers. bluesign® certifications ensure that the materials used avoid harmful substances, use reduced air and water emissions, increase resource productivity, and the production line is more transparent and trustworthy.

This product is also made in a Fair Trade Factory™, giving Patagonia more control of the operations in the factories they choose to work with. Patagonia proudly offers more Fair Trade styles than any other apparel brand in the current market. But how does it work? Patagonia pays a premium for every item made in one of these factories, and this money goes directly to the factory workers. A democratically elected committee of Fair Trade workers will decide how this extra money gets spent in each Fair Trade factory. The program also promotes worker health and safety, and social and environmental compliance, while encouraging healthier dialogue between workers and management.

What are the features?

The helmet-compatible hood with a dual-point adjustment system and Cohaesive® cord locks provide exceptional protection when wearing protective climbing gear, ensuring this jacket is always there when you need it, no matter what you're doing or wearing.

A Storm Seal gasket helps to keep in the warmth and blocks wind, allowing you to maintain a regular and comfortable body temperature more efficiently.

At the front, you'll find a two-way, waterproof, coated zip, which provides ample belay loop and harness access. The zip also has an internal storm flap and a zipper garage for next-to-skin comfort, ensuring it doesn't catch or snag on the skin when fully fastened.

Watertight, two-way pit zips provide ample ventilation under the arms, allowing you to obtain extra airflow without getting wet. Gusseted arm panels also provide additional freedom of movement, taking pressure away from vital seams and making more space for the arms and shoulders to move, which is ideal for climbing or handling equipment.

These gussets also help prevent the jacket from rising around the waist when you raise your arm—win win!

For storage, there are two waterproof chest pockets, one of which has an interior zipped pocket, plus two high handwarmer pockets, one interior-right drop-in pocket, and one interior-left zipped pocket, meaning there is plenty of space to hold small essentials. Each pocket is strategically placed around a climbing harness's natural placement on the body, keeping all your belongings accessible.

Low profile cuffs are ideal for layering, while their tapered tab hook-and-loop closures and texture PU inner cuffs securely grip the wrists or gloves, keeping the sleeves in place when you're swinging a tool.

A drop-tail hem provides ample coverage underneath a climbing harness and helps prevent it from rising up or getting stuck uncomfortably underneath. Furthermore, the hem features a Cohaesive® embedded cord-lock system for intuitive one-handed operation, allowing you to cinch it in even when you have one hand full.

Last but certainly not least, this jacket includes a concealed RECOO® reflector. This built-in reflector increases your safety tenfold by making you more searchable to rescuers in worst-case scenarios, without power or manual activation or adding weight or bulk to the product. RECCO® technology was initially designed in response to an avalanche tragedy and launched in 1983. It's a two-part system that enables rapid, directional pinpointing of your precise location with a harmonic radar, helping you feel more protected during extreme activities in remote environments.
