DPD Returns Portal

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 3 working days of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.

We do not offer a free returns service. If using the DPD Returns Portal, a charge of £5 will be deducted from your refund when processed. Returns from Highlands and Islands using the DPD Returns Portal will deduct £15.50 from the order refund. Large DPD returns will have £6 deducted from their refund. (Specifications are over 5kg, and over Length of 30cm x width of 30cm and height of 10cm). If customers are returning items using their own postal service, and our returns form, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

THIS BIT IS IMPORTANT - due to a technical issue with YEEP lockers, we are currently advising customers not to use them and to drop parcels off at a DPD Pickup Shop. Using a YEEP locker may significantly delay your parcel being returned to us and your refund being issued.

We are not liable for delays once an order has been dispatched. However, we will always work with the courier to assist in resolving any delivery issues where possible.

If an order has not been received, customers must contact us within 14 days of dispatch so that we can investigate and assist accordingly.

What are the Consumer Contract Regulations?

Under the "Consumer Contract Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance. These rights start from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

What is the Rab Descendor 30?

The Descendor 30 is a lightweight, fully-featured, 30-litre rucksack, designed for all manner of mountain missions above the tree line and moving efficiently through winter terrain.

Made from super-tough ripstop materials, with integrated RECCO® technology and multiple ski-carry options, it's well-equipped for demanding alpine missions.

Materials & Technology

Recycled 210D Nylon

The Descendor 30 is constructed from a highly durable recycled 210D nylon ripstop material, designed to withstand the wear and abrasion of demanding winter mountain use. The fabric is finished with a PFC-Free DWR (durable water repellent) coating for light water resistance, encouraging light rain, snow, and moisture to bead off the material rather than soak in, without the use of harmful forever chemicals. However, please note that this does not make the material waterproof.

TRI-FLEX™ Carry System

The Descendor 30 uses Rab's TRI-FLEX™ fixed carry system, which is a lightweight back system with a moulded, snow-shedding back panel and supportive hip belt for comfort and support when you're moving through various winter terrain.

The back system is designed to sit close to the body, creating a stable carry while allowing freedom of movement in technical mountain terrain. The moulded back panel also helps minimise snow accumulation against the pack during winter use.

Dedicated Avalanche Equipment Storage

A dedicated zipped front compartment provides quick access to avalanche safety equipment, allowing you to keep essential tools close to hand and easy to access in case of an emergency.

Multiple Ski and Snowboard Carry Options

The Descendor 30 features multiple options for transporting skis, snowboards and other bulky winter equipment. The skis can be carried using an A-frame attachment or a diagonal ski attachment, depending on the terrain and personal preference. You can also attach your snowboard vertically to the front of the pack with additional straps.

Multiple Main Compartment Access Points

The generous 30-litre main compartment can be accessed from the top and side of the pack, allowing you to easily grab specific items of kit quickly, without having to waste time rummaging around or unpack everything in cold, snowy conditions.

Dedicated Goggle Pocket

A dedicated zipped goggle pocket with a soft tricot lining protects goggles and sunglasses from other mountain equipment, helping them to stay safe when not in use.

Lower Gear Compartment

A separate lower gear compartment with zipped side entry provides quick access to essential equipment such as crampons, helping make terrain transitions more efficient without needing to unpack the main compartment.

Rope Management

A rope feed-out port connects directly to the main compartment, allowing the climbing rope to be easily organised within the pack while remaining accessible when required.

Helmet Carry

The pack also features an external helmet carry system that allows you to easily secure it to the front of the pack when not in use.

Hydration Compatibility

The Descendor 30 is also compatible with a 2-litre hydration bladder for quick and easy access to water throughout longer days in the mountains.

On-the-Go Storage

For storage on the go, you'll find chest pockets ideal for convenient access to a soft flask and other small essentials, and larger hipbelt pockets, ideal for stashing trail snacks, energy gels and various other quick-access gear without needing to stop and remove the pack.

Internal Security Pocket

An internal zippered security pocket provides additional safe storage for smaller valuables and essentials that you don't want to get lost inside the main pack, such as a mobile phone or keys.

RECCO® Reflector

The pack features an integrated RECCO® reflector, which provides a passive transponder that helps make you visible to mountain rescue teams in the event of an avalanche or outdoor emergency.

It's a clever little bit of kit that you won't even notice you're wearing! Recco Reflectors don't need any activation, power or function to do their magic as they already consist of a diode and antenna. You should place the beginning of the measuring tape behind your shoulder, and feed it out following your arm making sure to pass both the elbow joint and the wrist, as pictured.
