90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.

We do not offer a free returns service. If using the DPD Returns Portal, a charge of £5 will be deducted from your refund when processed. Returns from Highlands and Islands using theDPD Returns Portalwill deduct £15.50 from the order refund. Large DPD returns will have £6 deducted from their refund. (Specifications are over 5kg, and over Length of 30cm x width of 30cm and height of 10cm). If customers are returning items using their own postal service, and our returns form, all customers are responsible for any postage costs when returning any goods (excluding warranty returns).

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your account within 3 to 5 working days, depending on how your card provider processes refunds.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

What is the Kajka X-Latt 45?

It's a long-lasting, highly functional 45-litre trekking pack, designed as a lighter-weight alternative to Fjallraven's traditional Kajka rucksack, without compromising on durability or practicality. Rich in features, with easily repairable details, it weighs just over 1kg, making it an excellent option for everything from challenging multi-day adventures to quick wild camping trips.

What is it made from?

The Kajka X-Lätt 45 is created from the same durable, hard-wearing and water-resistant material as Fjallraven's iconic Kanken backpack, Vinylon F.

Vinylon F is a highly durable material that’s designed to be extra tough and easily withstand regular wear and abrasion. Allowing the pack to last for many years of trekking adventures. It's also lightly water-resistant (although not completely waterproof), so you won't have to worry about things getting soaked inside when the weather's a bit naff. If the fabric becomes damp, the fibres swell and become denser, enabling it to withstand light moisture without the need for a coating. However, please note, for complete waterproof protection, we suggest pairing this with the Latt 45-50 Rain Cover (sold separately)

This material is easy to care for and can simply be washed with a sponge and some warm water, should it become dirty or start to look grubby over the years.

The pack is lined with a smooth 140D recycled ripstop polyamide fabric to protect its contents, whilst remaining durable enough to withstand a lifetime of loading and unloading.

What back system does it use?

This pack uses Fjallraven's iconic and very unique wooden frame construction, crafted from FSC-certified birch. It helps to give the pack structure and relieve back pain from carrying heavy loads. The back system is fully adjustable, allowing you to adapt it to your height and back length for optimum support.

Ergonomic shoulder straps and a supportive hip belt enhance the overall performance and comfort of the carry system, helping it to keep stable and prevent it from setting you off balance or weighing you down too unnecessarily.

What are its features?

The Kajka X-Lätt 45 features a generous main compartment with 45 litres of storage and a snow lock closure, providing ample space for all your multi-day adventure essentials. Inside the main compartment, there is a small internal valuables pocket which can be detached and used as a small cross-body bag for essentials.

On top, there is a fixed lid with two zippered pockets, ideal for stashing quick-access items such as a first aid kit and headtorch, so you don't need to waste time rummaging around inside in an emergency or when setting up camp.

Two stretch mesh side pockets offer the ideal home for water bottles and tent poles. They can be accessed from both the top and the sides, so you can grab your water bottle without having to take your pack off. Elastic cord hooks on the side of the pockets allow you to adjust the volume to store gear with a wider circumference, such as a trekking stove or a lightweight tent.

On the front of the pack, you'll find a large removable stretch mesh front pocket that offers additional storage for snacks and on-off layers. Fjallraven has designed this mesh pocket to be easily detachable, allowing you to customise your setup for minimal weight, while also making it easy to repair or replace should it become damaged over time.

Detachable elasticated gear loops allow you to attach various items of gear to the pack such as trekking poles, whilst side compression cords help cinch in any dead space inside the pack for a more stable carry. These are also detachable, should you wish to further streamline the pack.
