What is the Trailblazer LT?

It's designed specifically for lightweight, fast raids into the mountains.

What is it made from?
The Trailblazer LT is made from Montane's own Raptor Fly lite 40D fabric, a ripstop fabric which is super tough, designed to handle the elements. The material is what makes the pack so lightweight and waterproof, helping you move for longer periods comfortably no matter the weather.
What is the back system?
The back system is where the real magic happens. If you imagine your standard daypack, the hipbelt is generally fairly thick and doesn't have a very large surface area... However, the Trailblazer features thin yet expansive hip fins which cover a large surface area of your hips without the weight and bulk, increasing comfort and stability when you pick up the pace. The hip fins help to spread out the weight so there's less tension on the straps. It's hard to convey just how comfortable these hip fins are in writing!
The back panel is made from a flexible, lightweight foam with a mesh lining that is cut out strategically to maximise airflow. The back panel is adjustable, meaning you can fine-tune it to suit your height and overall size. Moving up to the shoulder straps, these use the same technology as the hip fins and cover a huge surface area of your body to increase comfort and load support.
What are the features?
The main feature of this pack is just how well it carries weight when moving quickly, but it does have some other little tricks up its sleeve.
The Trailblazer LT is super streamlined yet effective, with minimal seams and a seamless pack body design with a roll-top opening. It is super slick and almost follows in the line of dry bags, keeping all your equipment dry and super quick to unroll and roll back up. The pack has fully taped waterproof construction, keeping everything protected, unlike the other Trailblazer range.
Unlike most packs, the Trailblazer has a lot of pockets within arms reach when the pack is mounted. Both hipbelt pockets and wrap around wand pockets have a security zip to store just about everything you could want while on the move, leaving your jacket and trousers empty, comfortable and non-restrictive.
The chest strap is also worth an honourable mention. Rather than your standard buckle, Montane feature their Click'N'Go system. The strap fastens to the opposing shoulder strap, much like a magnet, but is stronger and easier to use when wearing bulky gloves. It also makes a satisfying click when you undo it.
There’s an integrated bungee for external storage and is great for stashing your windproof or waterproofs on the kind of day you know you will be needing them. To finish there is an underarm pole carrying system which is fantastic to stash your pole and grab them quickly.
