Consumer Contract Regulations (CCR)

What are the Consumer Contract Regulations?

Under the "Consumer Contract Regulations, you have the right to cancel an order for goods made at a distance. These rights start from the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

Your right to cancel

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.

This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

Your Right to a Refund under CCR

You may get a refund within 14 days of either, the trader getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.

A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Refunding the cost of delivery

The trader has to refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service e.g. guaranteed next day, it only has to refund the basic cost.

Exemptions

There are some circumstances where the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not give you a right to cancel. These include CDs, DVDs or software if you've broken the seal on the wrapping, perishable items and tailor-made or personalised items. They also include goods with a seal for health protection and hygiene reasons that have been broken or tampered with, e.g. Climbing Equipment and PPE.

My goods are broken

If you feel that your item is defective/broken/faulty and it is still under warranty, please contact our Customer Support team([email protected])with as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL2 Mercury/Evening Primrose

Season:SS26

Brand:Big Agnes

Code:TTWUL225

What is the Tiger Wall UL2 Tent?

It's a functional, durable two-person tent for lightweight adventures and three-season use. The Tiger Wall UL2 uses Big Agnes' proprietary fabric technology that is 6% lighter, 25% more waterproof, 50% stronger, and more dimensionally stable than fabrics with traditional coatings, making it an incredibly efficient and functional shelter choice.

What is it made of?

Fly: The flysheet uses recycled 15D nylon ripstop with Big Agnes' proprietary fabric technology. It features a PFAS-free, waterproof silicone and PU coating and provides 1500mm HH waterproof protection, ensuring it'll keep you dry and protected in wet conditions and downpours without hindering breathability.

The coating is PFAS-free to reduce environmental impact. PFAS means per- or poly-fluorinated alkyl; these are a group of industrial chemicals that cause detrimental harm to the environment. These chemicals aren't able to break down, so once they reach nature via factory water waste, they stay in the ecosystem and contaminate living organisms, working their way up the food chain. PFAS chemicals are suspected carcinogens and have been known to affect mammal reproduction and hormone production. Therefore, many leading brands in the outdoor industry are now prioritising cutting out the use of these chemicals entirely to contribute to a more responsible manufacturing process.

Floor: The tent's floor uses the same fabric as the flysheet for maximum performance and waterproof protection without excess weight.

Footprint (sold separately): It uses a 30D recycled nylon ripstop with a waterproof PFAS-free silicone PU coating, providing extra reinforcement and weather protection when camping in wet conditions.

Inner: The inner comprises breathable 15D nylon ripstop and polyester mesh with the same proprietary technology for added water resistance where it's needed most. The mesh panelling provides optimum breathability and helps to ventilate the tent further. You can also use it without the flysheet in summer to maximise airflow and provide more exposure to the night sky.

Poles: DAC Featherlite poles are strong yet lightweight. They provide a stable frame for the Tiger Wall to survive in various weather conditions over multiple days.

The total weight of this tent is approximately 1.13kg. If you're counting the grams, you can strip down some of the features, such as the footprint and flysheet, to reduce the weight down to 765g. Another great tip for saving weight is to divide the pack between two people (one person carries the poles and pegs and other carries the textile components, for example) so that less room is taken up in one's backpack.

All seams are taped with waterproof, solvent-free PU tape to ensure they don't leak.

What are its features?

Entry: The minimalist pole structure of the tent allows for two doors. A dry-entry door design keeps the tent's interior dry as you enter and exit, helping to keep your home-away-from-home as cosy as possible, even in the worst conditions.

Dual zip doors allow for extra ventilation and provide quick reach-through access if you're already outside. You can easily stow the door in the quick-stash keeper to leave it open.

Space: This tent has enough space for two people or for yourself and a furry friend if you prefer a little extra room during solo adventures. Structured foot-end corners create more useable space between your feet and the tent wall. Two tent vestibules are helpful for separating muddy boots and soggy backpacks from your dry sleeping area.

Storage: A 3D bin pocket provides ample off-the-floor storage, while the ceiling and side pockets provide extra organisation for all you neat freaks. You also get multiple interior loops for attaching accessories and night lights.

Once finished with the tent, you can stuff it away into the EZ stuffsack, which features a large length-wise opening and compression adjusters that make it much easier to pack away.

Ventilation: Low vents on the vestibule doors increase airflow. Double sliders on the vestibule zips also allow you to vent from the top or bottom.

Guys, Attachments, and Pegs: The proprietary tent corner construction with a unique TipLock™ tent buckle streamlines the set-up process by combining three functions: secure pole-tip capture, rainfly attachment and tensioning, and stake-out loops.

Single-pole architecture, colour-coded webbing, and buckles make this tent super easy to set up. A new 'Cross Pole Socket' featuring a proprietary, injection-moulded TPU part ensures a secure pole tip capture for added reliability. Hook and loop tabs connect the fly to the pole structure at the guyout points to provide a perfect pitch and enhance stability.

Reflective guylines and webbing on the tent corners make it easier to see at night. This tent also includes Big Agnes Dirt Dagger™ UL Stakes for optimum pitching, ensuring your tent stays firmly on the ground, unlike Nanny McPhee.

Optional Extras: We recommend purchasing the relevant tent footprint (sold separately) for the tent you are buying. The footprint acts as a protective layer for the underside of your tent, making it better suited to camping on rugged terrain like rocks or forest floors. It also enhances weather protection if you're camping on wet ground.

The Tiger Wall UL2 also fits the Big Agnes Triangle, Large Trapezoid, and Wall Gear Lofts for extra storage and organisation (also sold separately).
