What are the Mountain Suspenders?
The Mountain Suspenders adhere to the old-school way of keeping your trousers up. They feature comfy, elastic, adjustable straps and are compatible with the Patagonia Snow and Alpine Pants and most alternative brands, too.
What are they made of?
The Mountain Suspenders are made with recycled nylon, recycled polyester, and spandex to provide ample stretch and flexibility without compromising durability. Of course, using recycled materials reduces the demand for new, raw materials and helps keep useable resources in the loop. Patagonia has crafted the hardware on these suspenders using high-quality aluminium, which is incredibly durable but not excessively heavy.
This product is also made in a Fair Trade Factory™, giving Patagonia more control of the operations in the factories they choose to work with. Patagonia proudly offers more Fair Trade styles than any other apparel brand in the current market. But how does it work? Patagonia pays a premium for every item made in one of these factories, and this money goes directly to the factory workers. A democratically elected committee of Fair Trade workers will decide how this extra money gets spent in each Fair Trade factory. The program also promotes worker health and safety, and social and environmental compliance, while encouraging healthier dialogue between workers and management.
What are their features?
Adjusters deliver a precise, comfortable fit to various shapes and sizes. Long-lasting metal hardware is also easy to repair in worst-case scenarios. Four attachment points work with Patagonia Snow and Alpine pants and accommodate drop-seat functionality when required. Furthermore, the hooks are compatible with wider (2.5cm) belt loops found on most other snow and alpine pants, making these suspenders essential for your winter kit list.
