What is the Taiss Light ML Jacket?
It's a lightweight midlayer fleece that provides ample warmth and freedom of movement to suit a variety of mountain activities, whether hiking, trekking, climbing, scrambling or mountaineering.
What is it made of?
The Taiss Light comprises a technical nylon-based fleece with a four-way stretch that is lightweight and feels soft against the skin.
Nylon is incredibly robust, increasing the longevity of the jacket. It can withstand regular use in the mountains without looking worn and shabby once you return home from your trip.
The four-way stretch enhances flexibility and freedom of movement for steep technical ascents to help keep you comfortable and performing your best, no matter your activity.
This material is effective at wicking away moisture from the skin, helping to regulate temperature when working hard and stopping you from feeling clammy and sweaty inside your layering system.
What are its features?
The chest pocket offers a secure place to store snacks, energy gels, a GPS device or balm, and keeps these items readily accessible when needed, even with one hand.
Gussets have been added under the arms for added stretch and improved mobility, perfect for tackling steep ascents, using walking poles or climbing. Each cuff has a built-in thumb loop that closes neatly at the opening, helping them look more subtle when not being used.
Finally, the seams are flattened to help prevent rubbing and chafing against the skin when worn for extended periods.
