90-day returns period

We hope that you are perfectly happy with your order from Trekitt, but we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. We offer a 90-day returns period from the date of purchase and aim to process all returns within 48 working hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods, returns may take up to 7 working days to be processed.
Please note: Our DPD Returns Portal is temporarily unavailable for a couple of weeks while we make improvements to the service. During this time, customers will need to arrange their own return postage.
We do not offer a free returns service. Customers returning items using their own postal service and our returns form are responsible for any postage costs when returning goods (excluding warranty returns).

  • Ensure the item is unused and in its original condition (including all label, tags and Boxes) and in a resellable condition

We cannot make any decisions before inspecting any claim. Should the item be found genuinely faulty, we aim to reach a fair and agreed solution, which may be a refund, a replacement or a professional repair.

When will I receive my refund?

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your account within 3 to 5 working days, depending on how your card provider processes refunds.

Refunds can only be made to the original payment method and are normally processed within 2 working days, however, during busy periods they can take up to 7 days.

Once our Returns Team has processed your refund, you will receive a new e-receipt showing the returned item(s). After this you should expect to see your funds back in your PayPal account that same day.

We want to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible, the first step for this is reducing our waste. Therefore, please note that we will always offer a professional repair in the first instance; if the product can be repaired.

This may involve your product being sent back to our suppliers or to a professional repair company. Please note that due tovaried procedures, warranty claims and repairs can take between 2 and 4 weeks to be concluded

What is the Ascendor Summit Hoody?

The Ascendor Summit Hoody is a fleece-jacket hybrid midlayer that offers ample warmth, temperature regulation and protection to keep you comfortable throughout various challenging mountain missions. A true wear-all-day piece, it’s perfect for climbing, mountaineering, alpinism, hiking and scrambling when you need reliable and adaptable gear that won't hold you back.

What is it made from?

The Ascendor Summit Hoody features a body-mapped construction, combining 20D Pertex® Quantum Air panels with Thermic™ G soft gridded fleece and a PrimaLoft® Evolve Active lining, to create the ultimate warm, protective and highly breathable hybrid midlayer.

The Ascendor Summit Hoody uses lightweight 20D recycled Pertex Quantum Air panels across the front and rear of the torso and down the arms for protection on exposed routes. Pertex Quantum Air is the most breathable variant of Pertex Quantum, which allows a little air to pass through to cool you down when you're working hard. The hot air inside the jacket is replaced with small amounts of cool air, keeping you at a constant, comfortable temperature. This fabric also features a water-repellent acrylic coating and is treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR (durable water repellent) that encourages light rain to bead off the material instead of soaking in; however, please note this does not make the jacket waterproof.

Thermic™ G gridded back fleece is used down the sides of the jacket and under the arms for lesser bulk with excellent levels of breathability. Thermic™ G gridded fleece is specially engineered to be lightweight, warm, fast drying and durable. This clever Thermic™ G fabric is created from 96% recycled materials and balances durability, warmth and fast-drying properties, allowing it to provide the ultimate performance and adapt to various activities and conditions - making it perfect for fast-paced mountain missions!

The hoody features a hi-loft PrimaLoft® Evolve Active Insulation drop liner for warmth and all-day comfort, whether you're working hard or taking a quick rest. This innovative insulating fabric provides exceptional moisture management, breathability and stretch, making it fantastic for a wide range of high-output activities. When you're working hard, the material allows excess heat to easily pass through and water vapour to escape, helping to keep you dry and allowing you to regulate your temperature by avoiding lingering cold sweat patches. When resting, the insulating fabric provides lightweight warmth to help keep your body temperature stable, so you don't rapidly cool down.

What are its features?

As previously mentioned, the Ascendor Summit Hoody features a body-mapped fleece construction for optimal thermal efficiency, moisture management and wind resistance, making it highly suited for various challenging vertical missions in exposed conditions.

For storage, you'll find a single chest pocket and two hand pockets, all with lightweight YKK® zippers. They offer plenty of space for stowing various trail essentials, without the worry that they will slip out on the trail.

Flatlocked seams throughout help reduce the risk of chafing when worn for long periods or in cold, wet conditions. Lightweight integrated thumb loops and elastic binding at the cuffs and hem help aid thermal retention, trapping vital warmth in the jacket and cold winds out.

Finally, a dropped rear hem provides a little extra coverage across the lower back for added warmth, ensuring the elements can't creep in whilst you’re bending down or reaching.
