What are the Bergvik Gloves?
They're traditional-looking, lined leather gloves that offer a good level of warmth and durability for winter adventures, whether exploring the mountains, hiking in the country or even going about everyday errands in the snow.
What are they made of?
These gloves are insulated with super-warm PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic insulation, the gold standard of synthetic insulation that feels almost like down. However, with synthetic insulation, you get the great advantage of it staying lofted and warm in wet weather, unlike down, which goes all soggy and loses all its heat. Primaloft® Gold is extremely lightweight and low-bulk, helping to improve dexterity so you can still handle kit easily.
The outer of the Bergvik Gloves is made with nubuck goatskin leather which is naturally waterproof and durable yet extremely supple. It's lovely and soft and is lined with brushed polyester that feels cosy against the skin.
The cuffs are also lined with rib knit that gives a more fashionable look without adding too much weight or bulk around the wrists.
What are their features?
They're made with a pre-curved fit that sits more comfortably on the hand and improves freedom of movement for your fingers. The half
piqué seam around the fingers is more durable and offers better weather protection than regular seams.
There's also a wrist strap and snap closure that gives you extra reassurance that you won't drop them down the mountainside or in a big puddle on the trails.
On the inside, elasticated seams give your wrists plenty of space and allow you to fit a layer underneath if required.
