What is the Abisko Trail Shirt LS?
The Abisko Trail Shirt LS is a long-sleeved, versatile hiking shirt ideal for various outdoor activities in varied climates. What is it made from?
The Abisko Trail Shirt LS is made using G1000® Air Stretch, one of Fjallraven's cornerstone materials, which comprises recycled polyester and organic cotton.
It has an incredibly smooth finish that is pleasant against the skin, whilst being light and airy to help regulate temperature. The fabric's mechanical stretch provides freedom of movement for navigating tricky terrain while enhancing comfort for everyday wear.
G1000® materials can be adapted to different personal preferences or climatic conditions using Greenland Wax. The wax allows you to customise the fabric's properties, such as breathability, wind and water resistance.

What are its features?
The Abisko Trail Shirt features a simple front press-button opening for quick and easy use if you need more or less ventilation in a hurry. The collar can easily be turned up and secured for extra coverage against the sun or cold winds. An extra panel on the collar can also be turned up for additional sun protection for your neck when the UV rays are particularly strong.
For storage, there are two top-loading chest bellow pockets, one of which has a zippered pocket underneath and a mesh lining to act as additional ventilation. There is an open back yoke with a mesh lining and a press-button closure that provides excellent ventilation when wearing a backpack or if you need to dump heat quickly.
Press buttons and gussets to the cuffs allow you to comfortably turn them up for a more laid back casual style.
How does it fit?
The Abisko Trail Shirt features a regular fit, which is slightly looser to allow air to circulate around the body to keep you cool in warmer climates or to allow adequate space for a baselayer underneath.
