What are the Runbold Pants?
Mammut's Runbold Pants are incredibly versatile outdoor trousers that can be worn for virtually anything! Whether you're heading on a leisurely hike at the weekend or a demanding multi-day tour in the mountains, these trousers are soft and stretchy to provide lasting comfort in variable terrain.
What are they made of?
These trousers use a blend of nylon (polyamide) and spandex to create a lightweight, packable yet durable layer. The material offers reliable protection from strong sunlight, with a UV (UPF) protection rating of UPF 50+.
Nylon is fantastic for outdoor activity as it's robust enough to cope with bumps and scrapes from rugged terrain without being too heavy or bulky. The spandex gives the fabric a light stretch to enhance freedom of movement, helping you perform your best to reach the summit.
The material is treated with a miDori fibre finish. The treatment is designed to make it feel smoother and softer against the skin and enhance its moisture wicking abilities so that it dries faster.
What are their features?
The waistband of these trousers is adjustable from the outside. The adjusters allow you to get the perfect fit every time and even change the fit when you're out and about, with minimal faff. Belt loops around the waist allow you to add a belt or even attach carabiners with keys and small belongings if you'd rather not carry a full pack.
The knees are pre-shaped, allowing them to sit more naturally around the joints, giving you better mobility and increasing comfort overall.
In terms of storage, you've got two side pockets and a leg pocket with concealed zippers for valuables like keys or a phone, and two extra seat pockets on the back.
