What are the Discovery III Bermuda Shorts?
Royal Robbins has given the classic Bermuda style a modern twist with their Discovery III Shorts. The brand has combined technical performance with a more laid back style to create a super versatile, wear-anywhere, do-anything kind of short.
What are they made of?
These shorts use a combination of Bluesign® approved Discovery stretch nylon which is lightweight, breathable and quick drying. It's ideal for exploring hot climates abroad or summer scrambles through streams and up steep ascents, where you need maximum flexibility and permeability all in one. This nylon is durable enough to withstand long distance excursions and regular use in rough, rocky terrain.
What are their features?
At the top of the shorts, the waistband has a brushed interior that feels super smooth against the skin. Even with the brushed finish, the waistband can quickly wick away moisture to keep you feeling comfortable and fresh all day long.
Fasten the shorts with a simple press of the snap closure, which sits over a traditional button fly for reliability and security.
There are multiple pocket options with these shorts - two hand pockets make room for snacks or coins, whilst a hidden front zip pocket is ideal for stowing away more valuable belongings that you want to keep safe on the trails. Back pockets offer extra storage without obstructing movement when they're full - more suitable for steep ascents or technical moves. The back pockets are fastened with a snap closure that is super easy to use for a simple click-in-and-go motion.
Pocket bags are constructed with a soft mesh which doubles up as extra ventilation if you need it - simply leave the pockets open to draw more airflow in.
How do they fit?
