What are the Hempline Tie Bermuda?
The Hempline Tie Bermuda are not the multicoloured neon Bermuda shorts of the 1980s, but a much more sophisticated and comfortable option for hot days and warm climates. The lower-impact fabric blends hemp, recycled polyester and elastane, giving you a swathe of comfort and practical benefits.
What is it made from?
The blended fabric is a mix of hemp, recycled polyester and elastane. As well as many other benefits hemp is much less resource intensive to grow, meaning a smaller impact on the planet than some other natural fibres that require heavier water and pesticide use. Hemp fibres also help make the fabric soft and breathable, whilst providing natural anti-bacterial properties helping greatly with odour control. Hemp is combined with elastane, for stretch and comfort, and recycled polyester.
Recycled polyester is quick-drying, reduces the use of virgin fossil fuel-based resources, and prevents more waste from going to landfill, win-win!
