What is the Sprite Racerback Bra?
It's a supersoft, merino-based racerback bra designed for demanding outdoor adventures, multi-day missions, and everyday errands closer to home.
What is it made of?
The main material contains Cool-Lite™ Jersey yarn, Tencel™ Lyocell, merino wool, and elastane, to create an overall breathable, stretchy, and comfortable fabric that you can wear all day long. The lining is made with a very similar composition; the only difference is that is has a bio-based elastane in the material instead of regular elastane, which is a more environmentally conscious alternative.
Cool-Lite™ is a lightweight and breathable blended yarn that's cool to the touch and quick-drying, ideal for challenging hikes and multi-day adventures.
Tencel® fibres are produced from responsibly sourced wood pulp using eco-conscious processes and are certified as compostable and biodegradable. Tencel® carries multiple sustainability certifications, including the USDA biobased product certification, CarbonNeutral™ by Natural Capital Partners, and an EU Ecolabel. It also has a European Award for the Environment. The yarns contribute to breathability and comfort and feel gentle on the skin.
Merino wool is renowned for its fantastic performance properties, being naturally soft, breathable, fast drying, and odour resistant. It's also effective at regulating temperature, keeping you warm during the winter and cooler during the summer, making it ideal for wearing all year round. Wool is also immensely responsible compared to newly made, conventional materials on the market and performs incredibly well. It's also biodegradable, renewable, and completely natural. Of course, unlike synthetic materials like polyester, merino wool doesn't use fossil fuels to produce either.
Lastly, a small amount of elastane adds some extra stretch to this bra for enhanced comfort and freedom of movement.
What are its features?
This bra offers low to medium support, making it ideal for hiking, hill walking, trekking, travelling, or everyday errands.
The soft bra comes with bra cup pockets if you'd prefer to add cups for extra support.
It uses a cross-back configuration, which improves stability and support without digging in excessively or feeling uncomfortable.
The bra has an exposed elastic hem band for next-to-skin comfort and merrow stitching to lessen the bulk of the seams, helping to prevent rubbing or chafing when worn for longer periods.
