What is the HydraPak Seeker 2L?
The Seeker is a lightweight and collapsible water storage bag built for adventures where space and weight are at a premium. With a 2-litre capacity, it provides plenty of water for cooking, refilling bottles, cleaning, or hydrating at camp — all while packing down incredibly small when empty.
What is it made of?
Durable TPU Body
The Seeker is built from ultra-durable TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), a flexible yet tough material chosen for its excellent abrasion resistance and long-term reliability. The RF-welded seams reinforce the structure by bonding the material without stitching. This design produces a smooth, uniform seal that prevents leaks and significantly increases lifespan — even when used daily or on extended expeditions.
Secure, Functional Components
The PP (polypropylene) screw cap delivers a tight, dependable seal that prevents leaks in packs or during transport. It's tethered, so you never risk dropping or losing it while filling from streams or basins. The TPU-coated nylon handle adds durability and grip where it matters most — when you're carrying a full 2L load or pouring into a cooking pot or water bottle. It provides structure without bulk, making the Seeker easy to control even with cold hands or gloves.
Clean, Safe Hydration
Every material in the Seeker is BPA- and PVC-free, ensuring pure, neutral water taste with zero plastic aftertaste. Unlike some rigid bottles, the TPU used here stays taste-free even when exposed to heat from the sun, repeated refills or long-term storage.
What are its features?
Packable and Space-Saving
When empty, the Seeker easily folds, rolls, or compresses into its included storage pouch, reducing bulk to almost nothing. This design makes it ideal for multi-day backpacking, bikepacking, or travel setups where every litre of pack space matters. Once packed away, it tucks neatly into side pockets, hip belts, or accessory pouches.
Easy to Fill and Carry
The wide-mouth opening allows fast refilling at taps, lakes, streams, or filtering stations. The tethered screw cap ensures you never misplace the lid and also creates a natural carry/holding loop. This makes filling, pouring, and hanging the reservoir quick and secure — even with cold or gloved hands.
Filtration Compatible
The Seeker features a 42mm threaded neck, making it compatible with popular ultralight squeeze filters, including the HydraPak Filter Cap and Katadyn BeFree. It transforms the Seeker into a portable filtration system — perfect for gathering water at camp or along remote trails.
Low-Profile Handle
A TPU-coated, flexible carry handle provides grip and control when transferring water into bottles, cooking pots, or hydration systems. The coated handle remains comfortable and stable even when carrying the Seeker fully loaded.
Attach or Hang Anywhere
Two load-bearing side lash points allow the Seeker to be clipped, strapped, or suspended. You can use these to hang the Seeker for gravity-fed water at camp, secure it to the outside of a pack, or rig it as a shared wash/refill station for group use. This feature is especially useful in backcountry kitchens or group basecamps.
