The Vega Down Jacket is perfect for fast and light winter sports. It would make a great belay jacket for the depths of winter. Thanks to its tailored alpine cut and the 750 fill power goose down, you should feel an all over body hug that eliminates most of the unwanted dead space keeping you nice and toasty. The use of down ensures the best warmth to weight and compressibility ratio of any other forms of insulation.
Its outer is made from Drylite Loft II. This totally windproof and highly water resistant Nylon fabric is hard wearing and light enough to allow the down to fully loft, creating lots of little air pockets that can be heated up and trapped to keep your body super toasty.
The Half Dome HC Hood is constructed using ELX (elasticated stitching) producing a comfortable fit around your head (and helmet) increasing overall warmth and fit. The hood and hem has been fitted with a drawcords; thus giving you the ability to synch it in tight to keep the cold air from getting to you and pushing out the nice warm stuff.

Most people are scared to wash their down jackets but like all equipment it does need to be maintained. It is actually really easy! Feel free to give the shop a call from 09:00 until 17:30 Monday to Saturday (19:30 on a Wednesday), as we are always happy to help and give friendly advice.
