What are the Alp 2.0 Crampons?
They're lightweight micro crampons for winter trekking, light mountaineering and approaches on icy ground, hard snow and frozen undergrowth. They're also fantastic for winter forest work, thanks to their plated construction and velcro band fastening.
What are they made of?
They have a hi-tech silicone elastomer frame, tested up to -60°c, to ensure maximum performance in extreme temperatures. The elastomers' elastic properties allow the shape to bond well to any boot, providing a comfortable fit and perfect positioning of the crampon.
A band at the top of the crampon is made with elasticated velcro to fix it onto your footwear securely, ensuring precision every time.
The spikes are constructed with robust steel that offers performance without adding excessive weight.
Short-link chains on the bottom of the crampons are made from high quality steel for reassurance and reliability. They make it much easier to get the crampon onto the boot and provide plenty of freedom of movement to allow the foot to naturally flex.
What are their features?
These crampons have 13 steel spikes to provide fantastic stability and perfect grip for walking and running. The spikes vary between 7mm and 17mm for adapting to different terrain. They're long enough to dig into the ground and get a secure hold without hindering the foot's natural movement, keeping you comfy and stable throughout your mission.
A front-hinged design helps prevent snow and ice accumulation on the front which can be potentially dangerous - the more ice that was to build up under the foot, the less grip you'd have, increasing the risk of slipping or falling.
There's a steel hoop on the tip to optimise stability alongside a handy puller at the back that makes the fitting process easier and allows you to put them on or take them off with minimal faff.
Each pair of crampons comes with an ultralight bag made of technical, functional material to keep them safe. It's small enough to be taken on a multi-day trip or for longer runs and done-in-a-day sessions without taking up too much room in a kit bag or backpack.

If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with or contaminated in any way, then we cannot accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety.
